This is sad. Anytime somebody dies before 70 it's an extremely sad occasion. Friends was a funny show to me. Far funnier than Seinfeld in my opinion. The friendship between Joey and Chandler was an epic TV brother-type friendship.
Though I know Matthew Perry had his troubles, I enjoyed him in his role as Chandler Bing.
