The Israel Defense Forces' announced "expansion of ground operations" in the Gaza Strip last night has not yet occurred, and the outcome of the night raid is still being evaluated.

Clashes between the Arab population and Israeli security forces continue. The most violent unrest occurred in Jenin, where residents held multiple demonstrations and went on strike.

Hamas announced the initiation of a search for eight individuals from the list provided by Russia among the hostages, with plans to release them.
