Britain and the US gave the state of Israel the "playbook" on how to do shit way back in 1948, so its no wonder why the US is backing Israel. Its like in sports and in high school, the authorities only see when the "weak" hits back the bully. I remember well back in the early '90s living in Crown Heights Brooklyn NY, the call from Jewish leaders on the other side of Eastern Parkway calling out to the young generation to go back to Israel to occupy recently-cleared lands before the Palestinians had a chance to claim it back through violence. Good comedians can structure a joke about any topic. Are there bad jokes? Of course. Are there tasteless jokes. Definitely. But.. a joke isn't bad or tasteless just because a person doesn't like the subject matter. I've had relatives die from cancer, but I'll laugh at a good cancer joke. I've personally dealt with suicidal thoughts and actions, but I'll laugh at suicide jokes. Jim Norton was saying the workplace was so toxic and cheap, they give employees metal helmets in case they blow their brains out, the company won't have to pay a cleaning company to wipe off the ceiling.

What would you do if you're Palestinian? Of course you would fight to keep what is rightfully yours.

If one looks at a map of the area you see Israel is bordered by Lebanon to the north, Syria to the east and Egypt to the south and the only land masses available for expansion is the tiny ten mile strip of land called Gaza and the West Bank and annexation of both is Israel's ultimate goal despite protestations to the contrary. They've been engaging in a series of provocations aimed at inflaming the Palestinians to the point of armed conflict knowing the U.S. will provide them with all the armaments necessary to militarily defeat them and allow seizure of land that is not rightfully theirs. Now watch, their latest ploy is to evacuate Gazans to the south ostensibly to prevent the masses of civilians from being killed when Israel starts its ground war. Who in their right mind thinks when hostilities end they'll be allowed to return to what's left of their homes in the north.
I despise Israel for its ongoing genocidal and ethnic cleansing operations and hold the same disgust for so-called Christians, especially black people of the faith who turn a blind eye to Israel's inhumane treatment of Palestinians because of some notion of Jews being God's chosen people based upon some Biblical fairy tale. Truth be told the irony is American Christians don't even like Jews. Tell me I'm wrong.
