One of my fave adult magazines from back in the day was Black Video Illustrated.


Happened across it in the late-90s or early-2000s at a corner store, and bought a few issues thereafter.


A friend of mine in NY who had some music & porn biz ties mailed me a gift box of items one time, and she included a handful of magazine issues. That was a great surprise.

I'm looking at scans of both Players and Playboy as we speak and while Players is more explicit in allowing spread legs, back shots, and "the pink" from a body-type stand point they are basically on par with Black Playboy models of the era.

Only a few of these Players models are a bit thicker in that they have bigger breasts and asses than their Playboy counter parts.

Players and Playboy are fairly close.

Black Tail is more ass-friendly than Playboy.

But Blak Tail is basically full of all of the classic WCP pornstars of the 90s and 00s.

Playboy at least kept their content fresh.

If Playboy was going to re-master or highlight a former Playmate they would let know you.

Players and Black Tail would sometimes try to fill content by recycling old photoshoots with obviously dated hair and makeup.

Yeah. When she first stepped on the scene. She was grouped in with other chick's. But for whatever reason she got popular. And was starring in scenes by herself.
