You obviously haven't been watching them. QB is an issue but the bigger problem is the inconsistent pass protection. It's been an issue for years and they dropped the ball on solidifying the guard position this year. QB can't make throws if he's running for his life damn near immediately after the ball is snapped. No holes for RBs to create plays either

I saw the Panthers take Bryce Young out the game for a play
They wanted to run a QB sneak, but had to put in Andy Dalton
Because Young is too "light in the pants"
But again, its still too early to say anything definitive about the 2 QB's
The Panthers just need to go heavy & draft multiple O-linemen next year
