My exact sentiment. I don't truly understand whatever they're feeling, but as long as you're cool and aren't fucking with people, I don't have any problems. Doing theater and comedy has put me in place where I'm around more gay and trans people than I've met growing up in North Philly, but everything is chill and people are just working together for the project.
My issue has always been with the extreme pro or against types, that turn it into an obsession. It's pandering in the pro respect, and boogeyman-ing in the against mindset.

Most of that is coming from the internet. They get into these Discord groups and like anything else, (gangs, religion, K-pop) they start to feel like they belong. So now an awkward girl or guy (who says goofy shit, Naruto runs down the hallway) starts to think "Well...I'm different...I'm weird...OH, it's BECAUSE I'm trans!"....
Monitor what your kids watch, keep your kids off the internet mostly and you should be fine. But wasting your time going after them, carrying signs and attacking them ain't going to make them go away.

The internet was an amazing tool for me as a kid, but I will say it was a lot less prominent back then. Very few kids had access to the web when I got on in the late 90s.
This subject is touchy, I was fucking this chic from a near city, she has a son and a daughter and the girl was the athlete and the son was trying until he was diagnosed with an enlarged heart. The boy is a clear flamer to me we always saw signs of it coming… we all know the signs.
Anyway I have two sons one that’s 12 and the other special needs and don’t want them really socializing with each other. I know I’m wrong but the weirdness of it all makes shit tough.
One morning after I stayed the night with his Moms he asked if I’d take him to school and hit Starbucks on the way. I agreed because overall I like the kid but this mufucka was wearing jeggings and flannel covering his fingers with a white tshirt like girls. I watched him gracefully float across the park Iot as he went in for his beverage and all I could do is say he’ll naw, because nobody says to him yo. You act like a bitch chill out.
