Brother Mastermind2002, SHIT GOT REAL!!!!....When his music dropped and Edge came out!!..That fucking place went insane!!...This is a big game changer for AEW having Edge there!!...
Oh yeah!!..The last time I watched Edge matches was in the late 90's and early 2000's when I use to watch WWE back in the day!!..
He's going to have more freedom to be him and no limits here at AEW!!...

People keep ignoring that she went to WWE 1st before signing with AEW. The only reason she didn't sign with WWE is because someone said something sideways to her. AEW was up and running and Cody got her over there. She was always WWE bound.
I feel like most know it. Her whole package is someone who needs to be in the mainstream and be a global star.
Pretty surreal seeing Edge anywhere besides WWE.
I'm sure TK offered him a bag that he just couldn't turn down and one thing I know about wrestlers is that they will not turn down a guaranteed bag no matter the circumstance.
They got the 'holy shit' moment last night just like all the other debuts they've had.
The real test is what TK does with Edge going forward.
Hopefully he's not stuck in some goofy 'are you my friend?' angle, doing jobs to people like Orange Cassidy and getting injured.
I think what you got to do is figure out how to keep him strong while also elevating the younger talent. Here are some feuds I would like to see ...

My guess is he's on a 1-2 year deal.
They're obviously going to have him in a program with Christian, which we'll see how 2 guys pushing 50 will do in the ring.
Looks like they want him to help elevate Darby Allen too.
He'll probably do a program with Omega and a couple of other guys to finish it out.
I think him and Swerve would be a nice feud as well..

In my feelings about what? I'll be honest....I never been a "big" Edge fan but I appreciate how long he had been in the game. He's that lifer like Taker and Sting were. So I get it. But I do not get excited about seeing him in any feud. His shit with WWE was trash to me. And when they finally gave him something I thought he was gonna run with they gave him Judgement Day and he didn't like it.
And when it comes to what he has to offer AEW.....it's gonna be a recycle, past their prime programming we've seen with him and Christian before. How you getting wet over this?

In AEW he'll be working with better in ring talent and won't be under the restrictions of working the WWE style. Now he's free to reach the highest levels of match quality. That's what I'm excited about. As long as TK doesn't fumble his booking he should shine.

I always get confused with the wrestling side of things and the business side. To me wrestling wise it makes no sense to bring in Edge. Now if the argument is he'll bring more eyes to their brand? I can see it.
I guess the injuries are past Edge as well? I don't know I ain't trying to hate on AEW I just don't get the move. Maybe its nostalgia that's hurting me because even Sting don't seem quite right in AEW but he done dick hopped around so much it should.
Edge can STILL work in the ring plus he has name value to bring eyeballs on the product. So you're getting BOTH from him. You don't bring him in just for some last hurray with Christian, you bring him in for the potential feuds with Starks, Omega, MJF, Cole, White, Hangman, etc.
injuries are apart of the business. Bryan Danielson had past injury problems too but NOW he's delivering the best work of his career. He literally had a 5 star classic with Zack Sabre Jr last night. If Danielson can do it Edge can do it.
Don't let Nostalgia hinder you from enjoying great wrestling. It shouldn't matter who's in what promotion as long as quality wrestling comes from it that's all that should matter.

Bringing Edge to AEW is a good move!!..Now, you have more of the old wrestlers that people know and love with the new era wrestlers at AEW so you build good storylines and good feuds for the company!!...
I was at the Royal Rumble 3 years ago when Edge came back from retirement and it's still one of the loudest pops of all time.
IMO, that period was the highlight of Edge's return back to wrestling.
The Judgment Day thing seemed like it had some legs, but then Edge wanted out and now Judgment Day is arguably more over than ever without him.
Like I said before, Edge got his huge pop on Sunday night debuting in AEW but will it be a repeat of his run in WWE?
I have my doubts about how many "bangers" a nearly 50-year old with neck issues can have in AEW.
I know Edge wanted to do "more" in WWE and that was a big reason why he left, but wrestlers often have to be protected from themselves because they want to do everything all at once.
Sometimes less is more especially when you are already a superstar.

The back flex is a weird ass gimmick and a lot of females in the division putting in that work
They really need to figure something out with her cause there a lot of supreme athletes in the division with the likes of Bianca, Rhea, Jade, Charlotte and there are big chicks now with Nia and Niven. She needs to find a gimmick outside of flexing her back and smiling
Yes I agree, You can do different good storylines and feuds with Edge at AEW with the wrestlers there..That's why I like him coming to AEW...also, They have matches like Blood and Guts, Texas Death Match, Parking Lot Match, and many more that Edge can be a part of and it will be a damn good match!!..
Also, I heard AEW going to let Edge have some creative concepts on matches that he couldn't do when he was with WWE..so that shit might be wild and crazy and good...Like I said, this signing bring in Edge to AEW is a good thing!!

That's one of the downsides of having so much character development with Indy's time in NXT along with having it carry over to Raw. Her thing with Dexter had so much going on with them featured between what in The Way , and Dexter's individual matches and character given how popular her was. Indy can't be in super short segments where nothing dramatic happens on Raw. She requires more involvement than just saying, "Hey look, there's Indy". And the newer women with more interesting characters in NXT are having great matches weekly.
