As an American, I'm sure her ultimate goal is to perform in front of American fans for a large company.
She definitely has the 'look' to be a star in this country if booked properly, which I have doubts about if she is going to AEW.
I have not clue who this woman is.

She should stay in Japan IMO.

I agree as a fan but she's making no real money in Stardom. She can now get a decent deal with WWE or AEW with her elevated stock.

She's actually British not American and her goal is indeed to succeed in the States. She tried out for UK NXT in 2019 but didn't make it. Somebody most likely told her to go to Stardom and work on her craft. Now she's improved so we'll see if she goes to WWE or AEW. From my understanding both promotions are interested in her.

I only know her from the posts on here.
She appears to be an American wrestling over in Japan with the stereotypical 'look' that gets over here in the states.
Never seen her work, but I'm guessing her work must be at least passable since she gets posted so much here.

Julia has a title match Sunday. She wasn't going into it with a loss. They even mentioned she hadn't lost in 17 months. Which isn't really that difficult since she's only had a handful of televised matches in that time lol. I'm a fan of the BabyTaker gimmick so I hope she further develops into a respectable talent.

I understand TK wants to push Julia but with the year Willow has had you got to protect her and can't have Julia going over her clean.

Gotta start somewhere. WWE saw nothing in Jade years back and she largely got signed because of she's an AEW original.

Then why not have her win over one of the other mid card girls on the roster?
I like Willow and feel she has improved in the ring and has a personality that makes her a likeable babyface.
Having Willow lose clean to someone that barely wrestles makes no sense.
1 reason and you already know that answer as a long time wrestling fan. Gotta make ____ look strong going into a PPV match.

My point is that AEW would likely misuse Mariah and she would just fall in with the rest of the pack of women on their roster.
And as already mentioned, Jade was offered a contract by WWE years ago when she went through their developmental but turned it down because of the WWE schedule at the time. Jade also mentioned not liking on of the higher-ups (Johnny Ace I'm guessing) at the time.

I'm sure Jade is being offered a lot more money by WWE this time so she's willing to put up with their schedule and Johnny Ace is no longer around.

And if they keep it cooking properly it will be the highest rated segment every week. This has the chance to be a classic feud the likes of Omega/Okada.

I ain't gonna lie...in that video she kind of giving Charlotte Flair vibes. Neither one seems to be a looker but I mean maybe that's just a bad video.

For you and anybody else unfamiliar with Mariah's work here's her superb match against Giulia last month as apart of Stardom's 5 Star GP tournament. I would say Mariah has improved her ring work from bottom tier to middle tier in the last six months. Perhaps with another year in Stardom she could've elevated her work to top tier but unfortunately she's making the jump to the States now.

As a regular Stardom watcher I get zero Charlotte Flair vibes from Mariah May. She's a better worker than Charlotte and her personality is nothing like Charlotte. She has more Charisma and is a lot more fun than boring Charlotte. Unfortunately I fear TK is not gonna book her properly in AEW and she'll end up buried like many other women that are brought in.

Suzu Suzuki wins the 5 Star GP! I was hoping for Mina Shirakawa but Suzu is a good choice. She's an excellent wrestler so I'm not completely disappointed.

Maika is so fucking talented and there's some who are pissed she didn't win the 5 Star and feel Suzu skipped the line but that's the business.

In other news why do they always try to shoe horn Charlotte into these championship matches? Just let Asuka and Iyo cook. Charlotte isn't needed.

Looks like she's going straight to the main roster. No training in NXT? I wish Jade all the best but I hope WWE doesn't fumble this. She's got to get better in the ring. Please don't make the mistake AEW made and book her like Goldberg.
