Official 2025 NFL Discussion preseason edition!!!

Uh, oh...

***** Bears Fans Where Y'all At ??? *****

Y'all might have a problem at the QB position !!!
Ya boy Justin Fields just admitted, he just wants to play "YOLO ball"
He wants to go the Mike Vick & Kyler Murray route

Don't bother to study or watch game film
Don't bother to stand in the pocket & read the defense & go through progressions

Bruh just wants to go out there & play backyard football
Just run around & shit, and chuck the ball up in the air

This is the same shit Kyler Murray was on
Until the team had to take away his video game controllers

In his defense, there were many former quarterbacks that agreed with him. They said he just shouldn't have said publicly.

But Fields is basically saying:
He wants to be a RB (who can throw a little)
As opposed to a QB (who can scramble)

Coaches are scheming guys open
But Fields is not throwing the ball on time, or throwing at all
He's just out there running around doing his own thing

Look at what's going on with Kyler Murray
Depending strictly on athleticism only goes so far
.....until you get a serious injury, then what?

Look at what's going on with Kyler Murray

You can get hurt in the pocket. Look at Aaron Rodgers. Kyler didn't get hurt from a hit.

and he's just saying he wants to play his game. Josh Allen, Pat and Lamar run.

Justin has rushed five times this whole year.

Allen, Mahomes and Lamar do run, but they also can read defenses better, extend plays outside the pocket and know when to pick their receivers.

I honestly haven't spent a lot of time watching Fields play, but from what I've seen, he's always run first, pick apart defenses through the passing game second.

And honestly, him saying he "wants to play his game" is kind of selfish, especially for receivers who are open while he's out there trying to run.

What's selfish is keeping him in the pocket behind a bad offensive line. Selfish is trying to tun him into Aaron Rodgers like it's 2003.

and should you be commenting on a player you haven't watched much of?

He's not finding receivers or extending plays though....that's on him. He's not the first QB to have a shitty line. Exhibit A.

And yes, I have not watched many of his games, but from what I have seen of him, in games and clips, is enough for me to form the opinion that he just doesn't extend plays in the same way that other QBs, specifically the running QBs you mentioned can.
