The school made $20 million off of stadium attendance alone..... the merch sales, added tv revenue, hell all the $$ going to the local economy......

Pay him more
How much y’all think college head coaches make? He ain’t going to get Nick Saban money. You will need a title or some conference championships for that.

They don’t get TV revenue. That goes to the conference and is split between all teams.

bro whats wrong with u ...? i tried to ignore it ...

but let me disengage everybody c thru ur bullshit takes ....
Prime is paid well. Colorado opened up the bank to obtain him. In college football, a first time power 5 head coach without any position or coordinator experience makes about 1 million a year and Prime makes considerably more than that. We got to give the Buffs credit for understanding who Prime was.

When it comes to contract extensions. No University in their right minds will give a new head coach an extension after one year. For one, a coaches salary is guaranteed. You would have to payout Prime’s current 29 million to offer a new deal. If a university did extend after one season than they are on the hook for a lot of money.

After his 3rd season based on how well they are doing. Prime will probably get between a 45 and 50 million dollar extension. That would make him one of the highest paid. It’s just unrealistic to think Prime would be worth an extension after 2 games.

He got them by the balls too. If Deion leaves everything crashes, he takin his luggage with him.
He can't take it all with him. Everybody that transferred to Colorado would have to sit out a year. Realistically, most of his dawgs only have a year or two of eligibility left. One thing about Deion tho, he can go in the portal and get some more dawgs.

it was unrealistic for some to think he’s be 2-0 but hey they ranked in the top 25 after two games

Seem like plenty people undervalued the Prime Effect. It’s about winning games first…

What you mean they #2? Oh you mean that other school. This ain’t the 80s.
I am a University of Miami fan. I’m mostly a fan of the old-school University of Miami. Having said that her, I’m not sold on university of Miami yet, they disappointed me too many times in the last 15 years.

Colorado current recruiting class is ranking 75th. So far they only have 8 committed. This is surprising but there is still time to close strong.

They need interior linemen and probably need to take 5 to 8 of them in this class

We not saying he's going in there after wk 2 to ask for more money of course that's unrealistic

but by the season ends trust he's gonna wanna negotiate especially if it leads to them getting bowl money which they should

I could see them 8-9 games so they should get a big enough bowl game to generate even more money than those sellouts

Shit the economy around the stadium is poppin

The Texas A & M situation is interesting. After being beat down by Miami 48-33. They have the money, resources and roster full of talent and a fertile recruiting ground. The only problem is Jimbo's buyout is currently about 55 million.

Next year that buyout get smaller and they may make a run at Prime. His sons will be gone by then and Hunter.

No University will give you top dollar without a few winning seasons. If he wins this year and next season. He will get a new contract by the end of season 3.

Now if another school approached him and Colorado give Prime permission to interview they could be forced to match the salary.

Fo sho! Dude bringing all kinds of money to the whole regions, hotels and restaurants are loving this shit
Prime has earned his salary. But they wont look at extending him until at least season 3. There is no incentive to do so unless they have to match the salary another school is offering.

But based on what we see so far. I don't see him having an issue getting 8 million a year.
