I'm about to travel to Maryland to the DMV area for 3 weeks and as soon as I get there I got to head up Walmart for their rental program

What's the Walmart rental program? Well, I need two 27" monitors (one for work the other at the hotel), a blender, and an air fryer.

I didn't feel like dragging all that shit in my car with me, so I'm going to rent them from Walmart by buying them, keeping the boxes and the receipt, and returning them at the end of my trip.

Walmart has a great return policy. If you return it within 90 days you get all your money back. No questions asked. If you're staying longer than 90 days, return it on the 88th day, buy it on the day after. Wash, rinse, repeat.

I have all of this shit at home but why over pack my car for some shit I can get when I get down there. Do you guys do this when you travel?

Naw,buy, use and then return, nope to much of a hassle for me,I would just look for a hotel that has a small kitchenette which I may never use but its there.
Oh, I got a hotel with a kitchenette, but I don't think they've gotten so Advanced to have air fryers and blenders. I might not use the blender, but I'm damn sure going to use the air fryer. Leftover pizza taste better in the air fryer

But the two monitors, that's a done deal. You take all kind of chances when you transport monitors of them breaking or denting or scratching or something. I just took all the worrying for me out of it

I got $64 a day of per diem, but in DMV that's one meal. Don't know if I will use the kitchenette or not, but it's there

When I travel by car out of town I got a padded bag to transport my monitor.

The one I have can support two 32" monitors.

Lots of room for keyboards, mice and various cables and adapters.

I know that there are ways that I could do it, I just don't feel like fucking doing it. This is easier. The only difficulty is putting the stand together

I already brought so much other shit: satin sheets, two blankets, a steamer (for my clothes), my Oculus, 2 pair of dumbbells, some exercise equipment. I'd rather risk their shit than mine

Years ago my wireless router died.

I went to walmart, brought the exact same one.

Following day, returned my broken device in the new box for a full refund.
Best Buy has something similar when you get their warranty , it’s how I update my mobile speaker every 2 yrs.. somehow you mysteriously create a defect and they rebate you the price of what the device use to cost than they ask if you want the bread or the new up to date speaker. My warranty runs out oct 2024 aka next time I update
