Yes Colorado defense sucks. To put things into perspective. Shed Sanders threw for 500 plus yards. If he throws for 350 yards the Buffs lose by 3 touchdowns
That was how epic his performance was. Is he going to need to throw for 500 yards every game just so get a win? So anyone saying the defense needs to show up is accurate
its accurate but only in the same way as saying glass joe has no defense and is going lose in the first round.
That's what was supposed to happen anyway. Had the buffs lost... the criticism would have been issues with the D-line and everything else ANYWAY.
But they didnt lose they won even WITH the problems that were going to be there no matter what.
They shouldn't use the slogan WE BELIEVE anymore...it should be WE KNOW! Deion is a pastor and he references the bible all the time...belief operates on the same level as faith...and the biblical definition of faith is....
faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Before the season they said WE BELIEVE and that was to psychologically hype themselves up because they DIDN'T KNOW...not definitively.
Whats great about this win is NOW they KNOW... They can work on their deficiencies from a position of confidence becuz now they KNOW what works and what doesn't but most importantly they KNOW they can match up.
Believe is for THEORY... they have DATA now...information and proof to grow from... you don't BELIEVE water is wet...you KNOW it is. How do you know.... you EXPERIENCED IT.
The Buffs did just that...they came out against a team they weren't supposed to beat for a bunch of valid reasons...and they did. They don't have to believe anymore...now they KNOW.
Those players should come practice this week for the next game and every single player should on the field a hour earlier than theyre scheduled....The coaches shouldnt have to come to them....they should be approaching their coaches pointing out where they were weak becuz they watched the vids on their performance and be proactive in talking to those coached on how can they improve. The coaches shouldn't have to give them pep talks and motivational speeches now because they KNOW what needs to be done. They have the data and experience to build from.
They don't have to believe anymore...now they KNOW!
