Of the many novels I'm working on, two of them have a plot steeped in Revenge. Both of them were placed when entered in short story contests, 1st & 3rd.

Revenge is just something that universally anybody can get behind. That motivation is understandable and once you get there it's all about the execution. And then, it's about how twisted you want to get these motherfuckers back

So what are some of the best and/or your favorite Revenge movies

When it comes to vengence, ain't nobody done it better than "The Preacher".


And while technically not "revenge" films in their execution, who can argue that these films aren't truly about that theme?

And please don't count out THE WORLD'S 1st REAL FEMALE ACTION STAR for the big screen when it comes to handing out vengence...

They burned themselves into my childhood.
Red aka Clarence in RoboCop was a bad mfkr that got his Karma. "Can you fly Bobby?" was in the first 20 minutes!

And then the infamous death scene was only a few minutes later

Nah, man. Sometimes, when people wrong you they've got to be eliminated from Earth. Permanently.

You telling me that if someone breaks into your house and kills your wife and mother when you're at work and you come home and find the scene you're gonna be like, "Let the law handle it"

What if one of these criminals will have the Crowbar in the middle of your floor. And before you say, that would never happen, that happened to me (a break in while I was deployed, these folks broke in and left a crowbar. The only took my X-Box, my games, a bunch of porn DVDs and my brothers PS3).

In one of my novels, my girl takes a drill to a guy's ankles, kneecaps, elbows and shoulders after she finds him.

I didn't like this movie at all. I thought it sucked and I typically did Revenge movies, but it just didn't hit with me at all. Falling down fell down to me

Let off steam wasnt revenge.. the Asian guy didn’t hurt him, the fast food worker, the guy on the pay phone, the construction site, etc no revenge just some possible mass shooter prospect who had Karen vibes
