Deion Sanders offered the Colorado job- Official Colorado season thread

A freshman is a huge disappointment

who’s trying to learn a different way of playing… After arriving on scampi’s later that most others
He was rated the top corner and compared to Patrick Peterson and can’t get on the 3 deep at Colorado. He has been a huge disappointment and won’t be surprised if he hits the Portal

I am shocked he is struggling so bad.

TCU runs it up against ranked teams this was 2022

They were unranked until week 4 when they put up 55 against #18 Oklahoma, 43 against #8 Oklahoma state, and 51 against #2 Michigan....

They put up 42 against unranked Colorado and LOST!

Naw, the Buffs defense is horrible. The Nebraska game will be interesting because they are definitely going to test them upfront.

Their defense upfront will be a problem all year

One of the things folks don’t understand is, the offensive coordinator and offensive line coach… don’t necessarily want those pepper gut up front….
They want shifty guys that can block run and get down field and block at the 3rd level…

So it’s kinda likw back in the day when the Broncos had mostly lineman in the 270-290 range… for their zone block scheme…
(If I’m completely off the mark with weight, my bad but y’all get the point)

Now for as the defensive line…. Those big boy that clog the middle ain’t that plentiful.
Coach Kelly said he’d love to have two or three of them but they ain’t out that like that.

When that huge DT left Georgia, they went talk to him but USC had the dollars plus he wanted to be in Cali
It will be a long season if they can’t establish a run game.

Look at what old cackity cac said….

“Deion Sanders can do anything he wants to build his program,” Corso said. “I just don’t agree with his tactics.“

Corso cited how when he took over college programs at Indiana, Louisville and Northern Illinois he made it a priority to keep as many players from the previous coaches’ programs. Sanders took a different route with more than 60 different players on this season’s roster compared to the 2022 Colorado team.

Tell me why you’re really mad….:hmm:

There was NO PORTAL back then!! How the fuck do you compare that to now?? And even without a portal, a coach has the right to turn over a roster as he sees fit. If the roster is bad, kids gotta fucking go and be replaced with actual talent. That's what he did. Corso is stuck in some good ol boy version of the past. Fuck that shit.

This dude definitely his dad son

Shedeur Sanders after CU Buffs knock off TCU

He is saying no one believed in them, but @Mask you sure as hell believed.
I was skeptical, I didn't know if he could do it. I am glad to say I was wrong.

Hell even Shannon Sharpe, his main guy had them winning 4-5 games.
Watching Colorado all year is going to be a lot of fun. Puts a new team in the mix.

FUCK IT.. ima say.. It's way too early to proclaim Colorado the champs. Let's see how the season plays out.

What? Is Bomani against Prime?

No, he’s not against Prime at all. I don’t understand why people do this dumb shit. Bomani never said that he was against Prime. Just because he didn’t agree with the move doesn’t mean he didn’t want him to succeed at this level. That was not the purpose of his statement about Prime leaving JSU.

None of us who follow Prime believed that he wouldn’t do great at the Power 5 level. Some of us just didn’t want to lose that type of presence from the HBCU level. That’s not hard to understand. Bomani even said he understood making the move and why it was important to Prime.

You was talking a lot of shit on the low too if we being real lol

oh shit the offensive played their asses off

guess his son is the real deal i wasn't a believer in him but he proved himself.

Yoooooo I'm so proud of this program. Its one victory but that was impressive

the defense played horrible but that's expected going against a powerhouse program. They did come up big on that last series. great stop on 4th

Yup, the defensive line is the problem. Matter of fact, Nebraska will run the ball and test their D-Line next week.

Man that defensive line needs some serious work. They couldn't stop the run or get any pass rush.

O-line played much better than I thought they would. Their pass protection was great.

But yea, deion gonna need some GOONS at D-line for next season.

yeah that D line was getting pushed around

maybe by wk 5 that will change it was just the 1st game who knows but they played horrendous

Bro I really did… this the man reason I felt they would do better than most folks thought..

I made this post months back…
I agree 1000%, your statement is very true we have to be realistic with things

Every time I try to be realistic with it, the thoughts about TCU being 5-7 in 2022 after hiring a new coach( they had talks with Coach Prime) then going to the 2023 title game and finished at 13-2….
Then I sit back to think man that Colorado roster was 1-11(even tho we changed everything but the mascot and team colors)…which lead me to thinking about a USC going 4-8 in 2022 then hired Lincoln Riley(who brought his luggage with him) then improved to a 11-3 record in 2023….

So idk….. I’m just here
:roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao:

but you made great talking points…. Year one was a feel out year at JSU

*fyi Colorado and USC had the same record in 2022 which was 4-8

They just don’t have the talent or depth. Dominant DTs are rare in the portal so it is hard to scoop up the level of size and talent you need in one recruitment cycle

They will probably lose 5 or 6 games but they have shown enough for recruits to have something to look forward to.

Well with the way some of us predict things, we never know how

Many on here had them getting mopped up but they won

I don’t know how they will back outta that but I’m here tooo see it

:shades: :shades: :shades:

They got

Oregon
USC
UCLA
Utah
Oregon st

It will tough to get through that

Weaver said he had tears after the game because and him and Jimmy been thru so much…

They actually went 1-11 last at UCF, even tho they had probably the fastest wideout crew he’s seen

(I think he said that on Reach The People video)

I really was, the energy was too high in this joint for me to say what I thought was going to happen.
I love prime, but I didn't see this happening. You caught me. :)
HNIC we luv you bro but we keep receipts too

Deion got them snipers on deck, waiting on his command…

When he say get ‘em, we say got em’
But you’re an exception…

90

(Man I wish they would’ve had Jimmy Horn, Shedeur and Travis Jay right behind him, with their gold and platinum grills in…. Them Cacs and mixed emotional ass ninjas would’ve lost their fucking minds)

For everyone saying THE DEFENSE SUCKS... they weren't supposed to win that game...and for all the high expectations TCU had to win they ALLOWED 45 POINTS THEMSELVES!!! against a team they were supposed to blow out by 21 points.

Do the buffs know they're defense is leaking like the titanic...I'm sure they do... but that team won and they can COMPETE...it wasn't pretty but they got TEETH and that's all you really need!

this while missing two picks and nearly hauling in two tds…

So an amazing day could’ve been outta this world
