I've named several international teams that could've beaten NBA champions... It is silly to say only cities can be world champions but countries cannot be.

You are 100% WRONG. The international players CAN play in the NBA. Most have. But the NBA does NOT have a roster of the best players. About 6-8 guys on NBA roster are either too young to be good or just on a contract that the team is paying off for another team based on a trade where they picked up draft picks. The full NBA roster is NOT the best players. There are at least 100 international players that can play forNBA teams right now.
ALSO, dawg, please know that most NBA teams are not trying to win a championship. Only 8-12 are. Lakers, Clips, Phoenix, GSW, Nuggets, Wolves, Boston, Philly, Memphis, Heat, NYK, Hornets, Mavs. Those are the ONLY teams trying to win a championship this year. The rest are building for the future, as a result, most teams use their roster for development and transactions. That is a reason yo can't say NBA players are ALL better than international players. MikeJames, Shane Larkin, Mirotic, Melli, Micic and about 25 others from the Euroleague alone are NBA caliber. If they were in the NBA you wouldn't know the difference.
Vlatko Cancer, Sida Cissoko, Goga Bitadze, Ibou Badje,Sasha Vezenkov, Omer Yertseven, Marco Sivonovic... and many others are IN the NBA, currently. They certainly aren't better than the top international guys.

Ok what does this have to do with what I said Which is there is no other professional basketball team in the world that can beat the Nuggets in a seven game series 99.9 percent of the time which is why they can be called the world champs imo. The German national team may be able to be them the same way the USA national team would beat them .
Just a question, the response I hear about us losing the FIBA championship is that we didn't send our best players,
but shouldn't our B team be good enough to win the FIBA if we are so superior to the rest of the world.
Because even the B team will have some members who will be on the Olympic team (Anthony Edwards) for example.
