The Republican Party will hold its second presidential primary debate on Sept. 27 in Simi Valley, California at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute.

The face-off will be streamed at FoxNews.com and on Fox Nation, which is Fox News Channel's subscription streaming platform. The online streaming platform Rumble will also show the debate, as an official R.N.C. partner.

With the first Republican primary debate in the books, presidential debate season is officially in full swing.

Wednesday’s debate saw clashes over a national abortion ban, divides over funding for the war in Ukraine and talks of climate change. And if that wasn’t enough for you, Fox is set to host its second GOP primary debate next month.

Here’s everything we know so far about the upcoming debate:

When is the second Republican debate?​

The second GOP primary debate will be held Sept. 27. The exact time is still TBD.

How can I watch the debate?​

The debate will be available to watch on Fox Business. Rumble, an online video platform used heavily among conservatives, and Univision are also partnering with the network, so the debate can be viewed on those platforms as well.

Where will the debate be hosted?​

The debate will take place at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute in Simi Valley, California.

Who’s moderating the debate?​

TBD. Fox Business has not announced who will moderate the second debate.

What are the qualifications for making the second debate?​

Candidates will need to hit at least 3 percent in two national polls, or 3 percent in one national poll and 3 percent in two polls conducted from separate early nominating states (Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina and Nevada), in order to qualify by the Sept. 25 deadline.
They will also need at least 50,000 donors, with 200 unique donors in 20 different states or territories.

Who’s qualified for the second Republican debate so far?​

Former President Donald Trump has qualified for the second debate but has downplayed the idea that he will appear, posting to Truth Social on Monday that he will “not be doing the debates.”
The other candidates who have already qualified are: Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, former Vice President Mike Pence, businessperson Vivek Ramaswamy, former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley, Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.) and former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.

Miami Mayor Francis Suarez has suspended his short-lived presidential campaign after failing to qualify for the GOP debate earlier this month.

In a lengthy statement posted Tuesday to X (formerly Twitter), Suarez said he was suspending his campaign a little more than two months after announcing his long-shot bid for the presidency.

"Running for President of the United States has been one of the greatest honors of my life," he said. "This country has given so much to my family and me. The prospect of giving back at the highest levels of public service is a motivator if not a calling. Throughout this process, I have met so many freedom-loving Americans who care deeply about our nation, her people, and its future. It was a privilege to come so close to appearing on stage with the other candidates at last week's first debate."

A relative unknown in national politics before launching his campaign earlier this year, Suarez made aggressive inroads into the Republican primary field, running an extensive digital promotional campaign that outspent several of his peers in the lead-up to the August 23 debate in Milwaukee.

Unable to achieve the momentum of better-funded foes despite heavy backing from deep-pocketed Silicon Valley donors, Suarez—who polled at or near zero percent in most major presidential surveys—later resorted to using his campaign funds to attempt to entice donors to contribute to his campaign. The tactic mirrored similar efforts by figures like North Dakota's millionaire governor, Doug Burgum, to meet the small-donor criteria the Republican National Committee established for candidates to qualify for the debate.

In his statement Tuesday, Suarez said, "I had looked forward to sharing the story of Miami, America's most successful city, especially at a time when so many cities are plagued with poverty, unemployment, high taxes, violent crime, and homelessness. I know what we have achieved during my tenure leading the City of Miami can be replicated in every community in our great country. The next President must play a major role in getting America's cities back on track to safety, prosperity, and a better quality of life for all.

While I have decided to suspend my campaign for President," he concluded, "my commitment to making this a better nation for every American remains."

He reminds me of a child that's begun to use profanity in a room full of adults. If enough of them react with either approval or laughter and the rest with indifference the child's behavior will be reinforced and he'll continue to do it for attention. This guy has gotten away with saying absurd stuff for a while now and knows he'll get more and more attention when he does it. That doesn't mean he should be ignored when he does it tho.

So remind me again, what happened in 2015 when Trump was a joke and they kept giving him attention? Trump was a laughing stock at first. But folks(mostly cacs at first) kept whining, crying, and bitching about what he was saying. The MSM gave him press he would have had to pay millions and millions for. All for fucking free because people couldn't get out their feelings.

Much like Trump, this guy isn't political. But unlike Trump, he usually comes with data(or using folks own words) and takes it from there(again, not political so shit can be clumsy with the wrong sound bites). Well, at least from what I seen now that I look into him. I seriously would ignore this guy instead of giving him millions in free press and attracting an audience.
