UPS Workers Will Now Get Paid 6 Figures

Ups delivery and feeder(18 wheeler) drivers been making 6 figures. Top out right now is 42 and some change. Overtime after 8...
Work at least 2 hrs overtime per day will get you 6 figures.

I honestly thought this already so I am going to assume drivers will be hitting 100K+ after this new update....

Good. About time. Man fuck UPS. What can brown do for you? Leave my Electronic shit in the fucking rain and put my boxes in plain view to be stolen. Would you do that with your shit son? :angry:I swear on God UPS can kiss my whole asshole.

My homie was a driver since the early 90's, I believe he's retired now but he made good money but they worked a lot of OT. The drivers are the ones who get paid. It's straight for the non drivers but the job to get is being a driver, that's where you make bank.
I wonder do they give pension?

I know that's biggie, but what's the meaning for the reference?

Just remember, UPS drivers have to follow Federal DOT/FMSCA Hours of Service regulations.

It ain’t like working a regular “9 to 5 job”.

To get that $175k/yr is not as easy as you think.

That truck gets shutdown at a weigh station, roadside inspection, breakdown, etc will affect your pay.

Getting thru traffic, highway shutdowns due to whatever will affect your yearly pay.

I don't know if they get pensions or not.

This is what it said when I googled it.....

  • UPS contributes more than $23,000 per year to each full-time employee’s defined benefit pension plan, which supports generous pension benefits.
  • We support pension benefits for part-time employees as well. In fact, we are one of a few companies where vested retired part-time employees receive pension benefits.

That’s solid esp for part time workers

I am. I didn't really get into Biggie until Life after Death. I heard the song, but I don't and didn't remember any lines from it. Back in 94 I was deep into down south, atl, Gangsta nip, Spice One and that kind of stuff. I wasn't on New York stuff at all

You should go back.

I was lucky enough that because of the Source etc I was one of them NYC cats who messed with UGK MJG THREE 6 Outkast Tela Scarface and them along with Heiro, Spice and MC Eiht etc back then.

So to me Biggie Pac Scarface Cube 3-6 Common Luke wtc are all standard listening to any and all hip hop heads period

They don’t get mandatory OT if they are salaries though.

My brother moved from hourly to salary about two years ago. The way he was explaining it to me was that he makes more part time because he can work at much OT as he want to. He can’t do that as salaried unless they offer it.

Of course he gets better benefits, and steadier income.
It is the same way in nursing. You can be management and make your salary or you can work the floor and make money. I’m 40, fuck I look like having bullshit meetings all day.

You see I'm real wit mines

Even East coast understood that first Tela is still an under appreciated uncontested classic.

This is great news, big up to them hardworking dudes. They deserve it, and it seems like they'll he raking in a healthy paycheck. That being said....

Wrong. If you're on a milage run, any delay is paid at an hourly wage..time and a half.. $63/hr.

I know that.

But if you in a day cab. Run out of hours and have to stay at a hotel overnight to do your 10hr or worst case a 34hr reset.

Are they being paid full salary hours sitting in a hotel?

If that is the case, they could be making well over $500k/yr, especially if you work in northern states with heavy snow/weather.

Dogs might not be so happy to know that their sworn enemies are about to make salaries in the high six figures. After contract negotiations this summer, full-time drivers for UPS saw their salaries boosted from $145,000 to $170,000 annually including benefits, according to data shared by the shipping company on a recent

Amazon drivers make 18-20 a hour it's gonna put pressure on them to unionize. They do work too but not as heavy packages.

The otr drivers for Amazon do much better.

If for some reason a ups driver was to have to get a hotel room, trust and believe he would be paid for every hour that he could legally be on the clock.

But it makes the transition to a union easier if you can contrast the two operators.
Bullshit its not that easy

Conway moved out of the whole state of Ohio at one point due to employees bringing in the Union and the midwest was their stronghold during 60-00s Can u imagine a fortune 500 company moving out of a full state? Do ya homework tho

Btw its no Conway Freight anymore they sold to XPO in 2015 which was a complete shock after being in the trucking industry since forever

But i don't think Amazon ever going to go to bed with a union but thats just my opinion

How'd it work out for all those Yellow/Roadway union workers recently? Do sum homework im tired of typing lol

That’s good news, was there the other day picking up a package from them. One woman work that whole line. I said to myself, damn I’m glad they rejected my application in 95’

It look like modern day slavery!
