The main event was slow and boring, but I liked the ending. Jimmy didn't turn on Jey because he wanted to help Roman. He turned on Jey due to jealousy. Remember, Jey became "Main Event" Jey due to Jimmy being injured and out. Jimmy probably feels a certain way and when Smackdown airs this week, we'll see this explained.

Solo. I think it's going to be Solo as the one who challenges Roman next. He is going to finally come around and see what Roman's manipulation has done to his older brothers, basically breaking their family up.

I love where the story is going or can go. Yeah, it's soap opera shit, but that's what wrestling is. And I'm here for it.

She needs to leave AEW she has the look and charisma just needs to go somewhere so they can help her tighten up her weakness. AEW buddy system causing a alot of future superstars to be held back.
She's said in the past she never went there because she didn't like the traveling part. She had a young child at the time. She might have changed her mind since then.

Last night's show didn't feel like a spectacle, like the "WrestleMania" of the summer that SummerSlam is supposed to be. There were no surprises, no returns or anything to write home or tweet about.

After a great opening match (with a shitty finish), the shows highlights for me were Cody/Brock III, surprisingly the battle royal and the end of the main event.

Rousey/Bazler was hot trash.
Charlotte/Belair/Asuka was sloppy. Iyo cash in was cool but the sloppy match that preceded it took away from the moment.

It was a C+ show if I'm going to be honest. WWE's first PPV dud of the year.
Gotta agree with you here.
There was nothing truly exciting about SS this year. Most of the matches were just okay at best.
I'm fine with no surprises or returns since it seems like word got out that Randy Orton was in town.
I'm thinking he or someone else returns tonight on RAW.

Although I lean more towards the WWE style of wrestling, I'm a wrestling fan above all else and will call it as I see it. I'm always critical of WWE when (in my eyes) they fuck up. This felt like a mid-level PLE when it should have been top level Big Four PPV.

Hope RAW tonight is better.

I hear you on that!!..

Once upon a time WM and SS where must see TV. The build up to the events was way better and actual made since and would end story line and move on to new one but, now they drag out way to long and we get the same people wrestling the same match over and over again. Long term champions and dual championship holders don't make any since at this point. The Bloodline story was good but now it's at the point they have no new ideas and are going to drag it out till next years WM :smh:. Cody vs Brock was the best match out of SS and it ended like a story was supposed to end and move on to the next thing.

Dakota Kai, Bayley and Becky Lynch (New Damage Control) will turn on Io. Kairi, will come in to save her and will for. Their own Trio with Asuka. You can make a years worth of singles, tag team and trios/six woman tag matches off of this storyline with different stipulations.
Why would Becky join Damage Control...?

Let this Writer's strike continue and Hollywood start tightening those purse strap
Shit like this is how you find out whose blowing their dough on dumb shit and whose been stack for rainy days. Rocks got so many taxes write offs for giving shit away might take awhile to hurt his pockets.

So watching Summer Slam and if Samantha is Ricochet's fiancé and Paul got the brass knuckles right in front of her, why would she announce him as the winner the way she did?!?!

Good signing by WWE. I think he’ll be a great addition on Smackdown or Raw, especially on Monday Night as a challenger against Rollins and Cody.

So wait you don't see this as signing someone that is on their last leg?

If he goes to another promotion after this you'll say that he's a WWE guy in that promotion.

He's has a ton of experience, has great ring presence and can still go. He's only 36 so I don't see how he's on his last leg.

If he goes to another promotion, no, he's not a WWE, for the same reason I wouldn't consider Samoa Joe a WWE guy.

Right on! I feel like you said Samoa Joe was a WWE guy, but I will take your word for it!

Shocked he's 36 he looks 50....so yeah I wouldn;'t say he on his last legs in WWE years this should be his prime.

It's been a long time since I watched WWE..But, the wrestling blogs and Wrestling YouTube videos I watched and read talks about WWE as well..I heard that when Vince came back, he messed alot of things up!!...I heard a rumor that HHH was going to end that wrestler Roman Reigns championship streak and put the belt on Cody at Wresltemania and start a new storyline and a new vibe at WWE..But Vince came back and change everything!!..Like i said, I don't watch WWE no more but that's the rumor I been hearing!!..

Mina has become such a master of move psychology/strategy. There's logic and purpose behind each move she does. She simply picks a body part and works it. The only thing that Mina has left to work on is her mental toughness. Right now she's upper midcard but if she wants to be in the top tier main event scene with Mayu, Tam, Utami, Giulia and Syuri she needs to get stronger mentally.
