You need the gun to do a ballistic test. The shell casings that are ejected during the year have to be compared with the shell casings that were found on the scene.

The killer Orlando "Baby Lane" Anderson is dead. All sources and video footage point to Orlando Anderson(who got jumped by Pac and company). The crazy thing is that Orlando was involved in a situation at a car wash where he was set trippin' on another nigga over some coke money. Next thing you he gets into it with a dude and his homie, and a shootout happens. Orlando shoots the two men one died and Orlando was killed in the process.

At this point everyone is just speculating but I highly doubt they executed that warrant in the hopes there'd be bullets in that home which would link him to a 27 year old homicide.

Yep the other 3 are dead. I have been hearing rumors that they are trying to connect this to P.Diddy. There was a rumor that Diddy hired Keefe as his LA security and Keefe got paid to take Pac out. The middle man was the dude named Zip who is also dead.
I think most likely it will be because of Keefe D's own writings from rough drafts and communications done for the book he wrote a few years ago.

Las Vegas police have arrested a man over the 1996 drive-by shooting of Tupac Shakur, 27 years after the rapper’s death.
Duane “Keffe D” Davis was arrested early Friday morning according to AP, but the exact charges were not immediately available.
Davis had been very public about being a witness to the shooting of Tupac, then 25, and hip hop mogul Marion “Suge” Knight on the Las Vegas strip in September 1996.
Davis said he was one of four occupants of a white Cadillac which pulled alongside the rapper’s car, rolled down its windows and shot, hitting Tupac three times.
In his memoir “Compton Street Legends,” Davis identified his nephew, Orlando Anderson, as the one who fatally shot Tupac. Anderson, who was a member of the South Side Compton Crips gang, died in 1998.

In July this year Las Vegas police served a search warrant at the Henderson, Nevada, home of Davis’ wife, Pamela Clemons, as part of the Shakur’s homicide investigation.
Cops confiscated several computers, laptops and iPads from the home, as well as the .40 caliber cartridge — of which many of the same type of casings were recovered from the scene where Shakur was shot, according to a search warrant obtained by The Post.
