It was a little weird, not hard to follow though, IMO the flick had a Jordan Peele vibe to It, with slight similarities to Us and the island.

When I say I fell asleep, I'm really saying I turned that shit off because I was falling asleep. It started off cool and I was interested. Then Jamie Foxx's character started getting on my nerves. It was like he was doing to Ray Charles Voice as a pimp.
It's worth a watch. I appreciate a good original story centered around talented melanated folks. I feel like this film at least partially was inspired by the plot of Black Dynamite. In fact if Jordan Peele had directed Black Dynamite, I feel like it would have felt a lot like this.
Mannnnnn!!! I loved this movie. Wasn’t expecting it to be as good as it was. Definitely loved the social commentary it provided. Like someone else said, it will definitely go over a lot of people’s heads.
Hopefully they do a part 2 with the LA version. That ending had me wanting to see more. My only hope is that it would live up to the first movie. Doesn’t need to jump the shark. Keep it simple like this movie did.

Just finished it last night. Good performances all around, interesting concepts that's been touched on before in flicks like undercover brotha, black dynamite etc. as we've touched on before. some hilarious and insightful moments throughout.. The Church scene with the Grape drink was HILARIOUS.
It's not a perfect movie the overall execution could've been better. The reasoning behind the ultimate endgame for 10% ers could've been explained more...I was wondering why all them white boys had afros and ultimately got the answer, and some of the cloning practices wasn't completely explained etc. but I would definitely watch it again and recommend it to people who could appreciate it.
