These moves aren't banned they just need approval from coaches. The idea is they don't want everyone doing the same thing in every match. A steamline of sorts. If the wrestlers in match 1 already did two particular moves then the wrestlers in match 2 can't do those moves in their match etc. I like this change because each match will be more unique.
That's Day 1 stuff they should have been doing from the beginning.
That's really going to handicap a lot of guys because they're so used to doing the same stuff in every match.
They also need to ban every guy doing a dive to the outside in every freaking match.
Maybe that falls under "Spots and bumps on the ring apron and outside".

exactly, that's basic professional wrestling. You don't take away from bigger matches by doing the same or bigger spots early in the card. Fundamental booking. It's also why Lana was crying about Roman nixing spots in a match. There's a method to booking, spots, finishes, but "modern wrestling" doesn't care. SMH

It's the job of the booker to organize and structure those things but TK doesn't know what he's doing and is learning on the fly.

Yeah. He would be a great addition to NXT and if he were to hone his craft there, he could make a name for himself higher on the card.

When you have second generation wrestlers on your roster, especially one whose father was so popular, half the work is done. Crazy that AEW didn’t do much to capitalize on him.

Exactly.
Half the battle with a new talent getting over with the fans is just getting them to know who the hell you are and to care about you and your character.
Both of his parents died tragically at a young age and his father was one of the most (in)famous wrestlers of the past 30 years.
The 'Dark Side of the Ring' documentary shed new light on him and his family for young and old fans alike.
He had a lot of sympathy from wrestling fans around that time and AEW should have used that moment to give him a push as a sympathetic babyface.
Instead they kept him in that stupid "Varsity Blonds" (the fact they couldn't spell the word "Blondes" correctly always bothered me) tag team with Griff Whatshisface and Julia Hart and only gave him one promo in his hometown of Cincinnati.
Not saying they should have given him a shot at the World Title or anything, but they could have at least given them a shot at the tag titles.

He should have been a solid lower midcarder instead of being stuck in a tag team no one cared about.

So wait, the same thing ya'll say about stars that aren't in WWE you gloss over the fact that, that same fan base doesn't know who Brian Pillman is!

This is an area that WWE has over other promotions is they can help talent work on mic skills. The "indy's" will focus on bumps and flippy shyt, but if you come in and don't have mic skills you never get the chance to develop or improve. You're just stagnant.

Got to love it when people on twitter disingenuously post things out of context. What cities are used in the AEW and the WWE picture examples? Had the show even started in the AEW example? Neither promotion is selling out EVERY city they go to. This is so silly.

It's like they're comparing a AEW in Dumbfcuk, PA versus a WWE Madison Square after Wrestlemania

Smaller arena should be sold out versus a larger venue, no?

BTW, That was RAW this passed Monday in Buffalo, NY.

I found a WWE House Show that took place October 2, 2022 in the same arena Dynamite aired from last night in Saskatoon where attendance was somewhere around 3500. But you won't believe me anyways.

Dog, I have a repour with you! Some random egg on Twitter of all places? With random ass pictures with NO background! How is anybody supposed to listen to that? You starting fights JUST to start fights!!

Seeing them pre-LA Knight videos classic. I've seen him in Heartland Wrestleting Alliance live in 04-05 as Dick Rick. He was a mid carder while Jon Moxley was wrestling openers and he was decent before the CZW BS.

Exactly. Similarly, I'm purposely going out of my way to have logical based discussions with dude and he's randomly posting anti-AEW bait posts all over the place in this thread. Yet if I do the same with WWE I'm in the wrong. Do we really want to go back to the way things were? 15 pages straight of me @EPDC and @XXXplosive beefing? That does nobody any good. Let's continue to meet each other on common ground and leave the bait posts on twitter.

Oh for fucks sake. I'm posting shit I'm finding funny on Twitter. WWE AND AEW stuff, yet you're getting your panties in a bunch because you're an AEW Stan.

No one gets offended at anti WWE shit, yet you cape for anything that is "critical" of AEW.

If you don't like my posts, scroll past them, just like I scroll past your Japanese wrestling posts.

C'mon dude let's be honest. The moment I start posting anything that would be considered anti-WWE you're right here with the quickness caping in their defense yet I'm the AEW stan. I don't mind criticism of AEW or any wrestling promotion as long as it's rooted in logical truth. Hell, I've agreed with you on certain things as recently as the Nick Wayne/Swerve match from last night. It's when you post out of context shit that comes from a disingenuous agenda driven narrative is when I have to step in.

...welp truce is over. It was nice while it lasted, who had three weeks? @XXXplosive you were close with the @EPDC and @Mastermind2002 truce with three and a half weeks.

Nope. Like I said, I scroll past most of your posts, if I have no interest in them, whether I agree or disagree with them.

Agreed. I also didn’t like that they put Scarlett over Bayley.
I must have glanced over that. If you break it down to some women like Scarlett show off their assets while other women like Bayley just have a well known trunk then I can understand their reasoning. Like I said before those brackets were made with shenanigans in mind.

Just makes sense. WWE would be foolish to at least not take a look at him and give him a shot in NXT.
They got Rick Steiner's son over, maybe they can do the same for Brian Jr.
Yeah. Didn't WWE do a stable of second generation wrestlers years ago? They could probably run that back in NXT.

Not sure, but they also got the Rock's daughter currently in NXT and over the years have also had Charlotte Flair and Bray Wyatt.

Thought they had one with Cody and Randy Orton. Wasn't watching during that time but feel like I've seen clips.

I was talking specifically about NXT. That faction (also had Ted Dibiase Jr.) was on the main roster.
Yep, I recall DiBiase in it as well. Yeah, I was thinking they may want to revisit that but in NXT. Have a stable of second generation wrestlers in NXT may help get those guys over before they move up.

It's like her getting injured was the wrestling gods pressing the pause button in order to rearrange the pieces on the board since we know what we could potentially have with Mone on the scene.

I remember when I first saw this match. I legit thought Ibushi was shooting on Okada but then after analyzing it closely I realize it was a planned work. When Okada is down on the mat Ibushi hits him hard but on Okada's elbow pad. If Ibushi really wanted to fuck him up he would've aimed toward Okada's face. Red shoes would've also legit stepped in and pulled Ibushi away. It was a great sequence in a fantastic match because of how it blurred the lines of work/shoot.
