Turkey Leg Hut causing traffic issues

Apparently homie gave em a so-so review and been catching smoke about it but, he still posted it:

At the end of the day it's still a fucking turkey leg man. Putting a bunch a shit and sauce around it don't change the flavor of the meat. Anyway if people are supporting more power to the owners. Did ever pay them bills they was getting dragged for earlier this year?

Man hell nah...

I got a few homies that benefited from it though... they had signed on to do some contract work for him and buddy didn't go thru with it... but he (TLH owner) put down a sizeable, non refundable amount of money to get the contract rolling... long story short they came up on 6 figures for work they didn't have to do.

I'm sure the reviewer knows this. But as someone that uses and eats turkey meat seasonings do help. The meat is gonna be what it's gonna be, but it doesn't have to be bland or taste burned......

I've never been to TLH, if I ever go I'd expect it to taste good for the price they're charging.....and if it's not, I'll tell it how it is......but if it is, I'll also report that.

And I been said TLH was very overrated... it's a place to be seen, honestly... nothing but a bunch of out of towners, attention whores (both sexes) and big back women

This dude reviews are spot on IMO.
I recently unsubscribed from him on fb

I live down the street from TLH.
They don't really have those lines anymore.
Either business has plateaued or its pretty much all tourists at this point.
I don't know any locals that eat there now.
All the long lines have transitioned over to Trill Burgers now.

Hope this tastes better than it looks
That's the thing about ethnic cooking. Presentation takes a distant second place to flavor. Some of the best food I've ever had was slopped on a plate. I've been in Vietnamese restaurants where they craft the food onto the plate, and I've been to relatives homes where they just throw everything in a bowl, and that shit tastes way better than a restaurant.

When I was in Boston, I chatted up an Asian chick at the bar, and I was asking her where to go to eat. She gave me Pho Pasteur in Chinatown, but I'd went there the night before, so that opened the conversation about signs of a good place for ethnic foods. We both agreed that if you go to any ethnic spot, and the people of that ethnicity aren't eating there...leave, because it's going to be wack and catered to the masses.

How’s the food at TLH?

Trill Burger line is just outta control... my girl lives in those condos by Eddie V's on kirby so I'm always in that area... every time I pass my Trill Burger the line is out the door... they even got little tents and give you water while in line waiting...

On top of that I heard they charge for parking too, which is insane to me.

But I think people going there, again, to see and be seen.

I for sure do that with Mexican food... I walk in and see too many gringos in there I turn and walk right out.... I go to the spots where you can't even talk to the waitress you gotta point to what you want on the menu

Nah they don't charge for parking.
My wife begged me to go get her one.
I went up there last Tuesday during lunch to get it for her.
Parking was bad, but they weren't charging.
They had two guys in reflector vests in there managing the parking.
The line went fast.
I got in line at 1:05, and was outta there by 1:20.
Again, that was on a Tuesday.
On the weekends you can forget it.
The burger was good, but it ain't worth the price or the hype.
Not even close.

I want to check em out eventually but I'm in no rush... for now I'll stick with hippo burger, hubcap grill or the burger joint if I have a taste for a burger...

My boy went during lunch one day and he said it was worth the hype but he's one of those people that want to see and be seen so it was more about him being the first of us to post about going in there to grab a bite

And yeah I'm glad about that parking thing because that would have been too much... I did see that they were double charging people accounts though and Bun had to speak on that but I think that's been fixed now
