That's pretty much how it is. The only people who Escape situations like that are lucky. No one's day is on point 100% of the time. We all let our guards down.If someone really wanted to kill you, you have no chance unless you know who that person was and you get him first.
Folks that want you dead will watch you and your habits....then one day out of nowhere you go to your garage in the morning to go to work and they are waiting just on the other side of the garage, then...boom....boom...... that's it....
For some of us our guns are upstairs in our nightstand. Some of us walk around with a shoulder holster in the house. But even then we have to take showers.
In reality, we are all people walking on the water's edge in Florida. There could be a gator lying and wait just feet away, and there could not be. Sometimes we can't even see it if we're looking directly into the brackish water. I just hope I never meet my fate that way
