A coffee enema involves injecting room temperature coffee into the rectum. There is little evidence to support the use of coffee enemas, and they may be dangerous.
The scientific research is still ongoing and there pro & con viewpoints and yes if done incorrectly they can be dangerous.
Enemas have been used as a healing modality since ancient times. Hospitals still use them today. In the past, it was standard procedure in hospitals.
Coffee enemas are used in cancer treatment (gerson therapy).
A brother who had cancer convinced me to try it. He did a 30 day fast. He looked brand new, cancer was gone. I asked him how he was able to go so long...he used coffee enemas to help his body cleanse otherwise the healing reaction can be too much:
Hunger and cravings.
Headaches and lightheadedness. ...
Digestive issues. ...
Irritability and other mood changes. ...
Fatigue and low energy. ...
Bad breath. ...
Sleep disturbances. ...
Dehydration.
I'm the type that would rather die from prostrate cancer than have a doctor stick their finger in my ass. So this was not an easy decision for me.I not just reading off Google AI. This is experiential. I actually experience the effect of coffee enema when I could not take a fast no longer. The relief I felt, especially the next day, allowed me to continue for much longer. The longest I go is two weeks. I fast three/four times a year (with the seasons).
I am a licensed bodywork therapist who has had to study anatomy, physiology & pathology in the past. Now I am studying to become Physical Therapist and I have had to take anatomy, physiology & pathology again as requisites along with biology, chemistry, physic, kinesiology, etc. In short, I'm not just speculating & being opinionated. I am also well aware of the limitation of our healthcare system based on profit & treating symptoms. I recommend that you read & research as much as you can before doing a fast & using coffee enemas.
