This scheme was actually kind of smart.
She was the Operations Manager, so she oversaw billing and payments
She had her girlfriend bill Zon as a delivery contractor, not sure if she was doing real deliveries or not, but they falsified legitimate invoices and then had her subordinates process/ pay them.
Her downfall wasn't just the purchases, she included a senior HR manager and a someone working in Loss Prevention......was paying fake invoices into the accounts controlled by each of them......
But the purchases tho,

She's 32 and represented herself in the trial.......#facepalm
Good luck paying $7+ mil in restitution after serving 6-12 of your 16 yr sentence with 3 yrs of supervised probation.....
