It's that simple. The eye test says he's not worth it because he's a turnstile on Defense, but who isn't in today's NBA? All I can say is he was a better fit than Westbrook.

BTW as a Laker fan I'm happy with our off-season. Vincent proved he can contribute at a high level and he can be a starter or come in off the bench and still be effective. Price shot 38% from 3 and is a solid 3&D. Wish we could have gotten a stretch big but hopefully Hayes can give us what McGhee gave us with his athleticism. Rui is back at a good price. Hopefully the Spurs or Rockets don't try to over pay Reeves and we can just get him back at a discount of the qualifying offer.

You dont need someone "eating up minutes" when it doesnt count. A serviceable ball handler and defender who knows his place is FAR more valuable on a contending team. And finding a guard who can be starter quality for 13 million in todays NBA is near impossible.
