over this song....

DESCRIPTION - Bill Feezzyy tells the story of how two of his fellow inmates in prison, nicknamed "West End" and "Decatur", that were friends with each other before Bill even met them, slowly became divided over Omeretta's - "Sorry Not Sorry" song. West End was a jokester that would taunt Decatur about not being from Atlanta. As Decatur was going through personal issues with his family on the outside, he was not in the mood for West End's constant joking. Watch to see what happens when niggas don't know when enough is enough.

Sidenote- This dude is a pretty good storyteller, imo. I could see some of his stories dramatized on Tubi or somethin. :D

Just because the world has evolved over the past century doesn't mean humans have.

Well all I'm saying is that as a collective that shit works against us majorly. That's one thing we need to nip in the bud after 500 years of the same ol shit. White people are religious about whiteness while we're religious about fighting each other.

I don't know what it is, but why is there so much tribalism among us? After all this time we are still so easily didived over nothing. :smh:
You actually answered your question. People don’t want to be from or a part of the “out” group. Many Atlanta rappers aren’t from there but it helps the career to claim it—Ludacris is a prime example. Many of Wu Tang aren’t from NY. We all know prison is about alliances and respect, so the pettiest of issues get you touched.

Of course, and cats usually ask for cliff notes, which I did provide by writing a description. So respectfully, Colin deez nuts.

Thank you for the cliff notes.

Good points overall but I thought all them Wu Tang dudes were from NYC

Its called human behavior.

Since I first read the story of the tower of babbel in Sunday school I always wondered about the reason why we can't as a species work to the collective upliftment of humanity instead of our various countries races, states, cities, fucking blocks, gangs whatever. Life would be so much simplier for everyone if we could. But no species that I know of does. It may be the nature of life for us to be competititve and that competition breads innovation and the best of us. Perhaps without the struggle we would become extinct. But it is an absurd game created and controlled by those that run the groups. Your only way out is to find your larger humanity.

That to me is the dopest part of this man's videos. He is consitently trying to get brothers to see that deeper humanity that's not confined to a block.

I'm not understanding how I'm answering my own question. Could you elaborate further?

I just want us to see the big picture. Africans are quick to say Africa is not a country it's a continent. But to the racist cacs that rule the world, it's a continent full of niggas. Not a continent full of Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, Zulu, etc.

It may seem as one group of racist cac's that run the world but they have there cliques too. Facebook don't like twitter. Blackrock wants to eat everyone. It may seem like white people have some unified plan but they don't. What they have is white supremecy. And that as an idea has the functionality of keeping them unified even on the basest of level. We don't have black supremecy so we fighting to be "equal" and their ideology is superiority. So there is no collective plan other than they the best and that functions to keep them in positions of power. We on the other hand because we are a minority in this land are stuck trying to beg plead and prod for power that will never be given freely. Either we eliminate white supremacy in the minds of white people or we take power.

Agreed.

There is most definitely a plan to maintain the existing social economic political order at any cost. That's what Bretton Woods and the uproar over BRICS is about.

It's hard to unbreak broken people. Then to wholly blame them for their brokenness is cruel and unusual.

One guy makes it to the Supreme Court and can't understand why others can't excel. As if he got there solely on merit...his politics assisted his ascent. He wouldn't be on the Court if he were openly pro Black, woke, whatever it's called today.

And why all these white folk poor and broken in America as well? It's race, always been race, but that's only part of the story. It's haves maintaing control over have nots.

People at the bottom grasping for anything that puts them above the others and calling that success rather than seeing the levels above them. Jay Z and guys like that understood how much more was achievable.

That video should've been 10 minutes long. Nobody got time for all that rambling. Somebody got killed over bullshit. That's song is garbage Atlanta is garbage now. That DA should Rico all them criminals. Atlanta trap music should be boycotted.

That’s the white man’s secret weapon. Keep us confused and frustrated. Women vs men, light vs dark, poor vs poorer…..ever wonder why there’s no alliance among black nationalities….

I ain't listening to all of that cause don't no one want to be from no goddamn Atlanta

I aint bout to listen to 1 second of it.
but if a nigga live in Dekalb.....they still gone rep Atlanta regardless.
Aint shit a nigga can do about it.
When i stayed in Lithonia and people would ask where im from........i'd say "Atlanta"
and when they asked which part......i'd say Lithonia.....
plain and simple. niggaz gettin bent outta shape for nothin.

Sounds like the type of thing NYC used to have to deal with. You said you from BK, BX, QU and Harlem you was good. Back then, even if they were from Mount Vernon, Yonkers or any place else they still said NYC. BTW...the song is :devil2:!
