Here we go again!!! @Mastermind2002 and @EPDC joining forces again! First Batman and the Joker turn into the Deadly Duo and now this, it's like every 6months or so they team up and start giving each other props and LOLZ

The difference now is we try to find common ground for discussion. He likes what he likes and I like what I like. No one's going to change each other's mind so it's more productive to just talk about things that we like together

Danielson is pretty much just a company man right now and will praise anything and anyone in AEW.
Funny how TV ratings don't matter to some until it's time to talk about Collison and Punk's segments ratings.
I predicted ratings would fall for Collision and they're still doing better than Rampage at this point.
Ratings still don't matter (whether it's the Elite, CM Punk, or whoever) because of streaming and pirated viewers. All those viewers are uncounted for. The ratings system today is a outdated model.
Watching stuff live isn't really a priority. Since you can know everything that's happened without having to watch it live almost instantly. But AEW has more people that I want to see personally. I mean all of the cross promotion stuff they do, we get to see people we wouldn't see in WWE.
But I'll say the ratings is not equal to the engagement and discourse. Which they'll never be able to fully monetize. Like if there was an ESPN for wrestling that housed all of the wrestling related news and commentary. But that would be a shit show if the narratives weren't pre-approved all of the time. And let's not forget that we get way too much of what's behind the curtains which tends to be more interesting than what they put on screen unfortunately.
With casual fans are the minority nowadays what they get by way of ratings is about the most there gonna get outside of the occasional pops from celebrities and moments when folks thinks there gonna be a change of the guard like Roman and Cody. And then shit all over it.

As soon as I saw that the tweet was from Jobber Nation I rolled my eyes. That guy is a notorious anti-AEW troll who grasps at any little thing to throw hate on AEW. You throw that guy in the pile with AEW Botches and all the other twiiter trolls. When it's a slow news day the clowns to come out to play.

Some people still take wrestling as a joke but, for decades they always kept the match going and thug it through the injuries no matter how severe it is. This has always been his dream to fight Okada and he was not going to let a broken arm stop him, their next match is going to be fire.
Some of these are the same critics that gave that WWE 2k game high scores, but then jumped on the bandwagon when players started playing it.
Video game reviews don't really mean much, just like movie reviews. What some may find bad others may find entertaining. Case in point, I loved WWE Allstars and Legends of WrestleMania games on PS3. The reviews for those weren't so great though but I'll still play them from time to time.
Hope the AEW fans enjoy the game. Not going to lie, the arcade like feel and gameplay looks fun. I might get it on my XBOX, when it's cheap.

I know I saw something months back about it being on Gamepass. Guess I'll pick it up when it's on sake in a couple months.

We kinda knew that was going to happen!!..I wish they made AEW Collision a special event show that they will air on Saturdays live like every 2-4months!!...My old wrestling heads, Ya'll remember when WCW had a show called Clash of the Champions?..That was WCW special wrestling event and I think they use to air it live every 2-4months back in the day!!...AEW should have made this new show similar to WCW show Clash of the Champions!!...But hey, WB Media wanted this show to happen!!..We will see how things go with this show moving forward!!
Having a show on Friday and then again Saturday and a PPV Sunday was over doing it.
AEW already has?/had? a quarterly show like Clash of the Champions called 'Battle of the Belts' that hardly anyone watched.
Blame WB for pushing for the show. They need to end Rampage and replace it with Collision. Rampage for the last couple of months had been booked like Sunday Night Heat for so than their B show to showcase unused Wednesday talent. The dirt sheets are stating that Punk and The Elite may be able to do business in the future.
WWE runs shows within a three or four day span (Smackdown, PPV, Raw) and their numbers seem fine for all of those….
It’s the writing/booking of AEW. They have the in ring talent. Their booking and stories are trash.
Also:
I watched that show a couple of times!!...they only had three matches with wrestlers that have championship belts to defend them..It was like a hour show...But if they hyped AEW Collision and make it like a 2-4months wrestling event special..People will tune into it..
But we will see moving forward!!
