SECRET INVASION

Several old hat "take over the world" story threads but i am curious to see how far the Skrulls will go with their plans. The fate of one character was extremely predictable.

Superman and Lois

Michael Cudlitz's Lex Luthor has made his made an intimidating impression cant wait to see what more he has up his sleeves
I wonder if Jordan will lean into the dark side of being a teenager with powers

Besides Black Mirror, I also gotta add I'm a Virgo on Amazon to this as well
Oh shit, I didn’t know that was this month!!!

Not a good look for Murphy and company.

Checked out the first 3 episodes of The Bear (season 2), first 2 of The Righteous Gemstones (season 3), and pilot episode of Joe Pickett in recent days.

If you liked season 1 of The Bear ... you'll dig the start to s2. More of the same, and you're already familiar with the character traits of the cast.

Especially with how many people are striking, and how quickly word gets around when productions are trying to cross picket lines.

They were explaining this a few weeks back on Hollywood Reporter's podcast.

And they been looking side eye at all those show runners who got MASSIVE deals like Shondra and the game of throne dudes etc etc...

A lot the writing room and writing credit issues are swirling around them.

It’s definitely a challenging business to be in.

So many people imvolved behind the scenes on TV and movie projects.

It’s unfortunate that so many people continue to not be compensated fairly for their work (glaringly on many award-winning works too).

Glad you’re liking it too! Liked how it created plenty of buzz last year, and s2 is off to a good start. Well acted and enough time for story and character development given it has a small cast and minimal shooting locations. You feel like you know the characters and they’re “lived in”.

I been debating about watching this series.

Is it worth it?

I been debating about watching this series.

Is it worth it?

Look I love it but it's not for everyone.

It has SO MUCH HEART.

There are like 2 black people on the entire 2 seasons. Very pro lgbtq+ very white it takes place in Kansas. There are no "beautiful looking" people on screen

But there is something universal in the specificity of her experience that is truly heartwarming and real.

Hard to explain.

Looking like 4 July releases for me

1) Domina s2 on MGM+
2) Harley Quinn s4 on MAX
3) Twisted Metal s1 on Peacock
4) Heels s2 on Starz

Thank you for the update on HEELS. The 1st season aired 2 years ago and was well-received. Apparently it was in production quite awhile ago and people were unsure when s2 would drop.

The trailer for the previous season for those unfamiliar with the show ...

Skull Island

3 episodes in and even with all of the violence and death which I'm happy wasn't pulled back on it still feels like I'm watching a Saturday morning cartoon.
There is some nice voice work and interesting creature designs though

The Bear season 2

You can't watch this show while you are on a diet LOL . The palette cleanse episode really got to me to many beautiful dishes. I love the way the episodes are presented in such a way in which we see why the characters don't really pursue relationships and why they are afraid of failing in life and not having self worth or proving they are worthy. I'm up to episode 6 which was beyond involving and stressful. In fact so much so a couple of my family members begged me to pause the episode so they could catch their breaths. Great work from everyone.

The Righteous Gemstones season 3

This is definitely a comedic mega church version of Succession
Still as funny as ever with insults flying all over the place and even though the show is hilarious there is always a deep dark story
attached to every season
