Hidden Hills isn't big enough for Nicki Minaj and her convicted felon husband ... at least that's what some of Nicki's neighbors think ... and they want the couple out pronto.

There's a petition circulating online from Hidden Hills residents worried about Nicki and her hubby, Kenneth Petty, moving into the fancy neighborhood ... and hundreds of folks have signed on.

The petition, which was started by Hidden Hills resident Beverly Bardan, takes issue with the fact Kenneth is a registered sex offender after being convicted in New York of attempted rape back in 1995 in a case that landed him in prison for more than 4 years.

As for why the new attention on Petty, he recently filed new legal docs changing his address on the Megan's Law website, so you gotta imagine the neighbors took note.

Nicki and Kenneth bought a mansion in Hidden Hills back in December, and as we first reported ... Kenneth is currently serving one year of home detention for failing to register as a sex offender in California.

The way Beverly seems to see it ... the mere presence of Nicki and Kenneth in Hidden Hills would hurt home values and create safety concerns.

Beverly is encouraging Nicki's neighbors to warn residents about Kenneth ... and she wants folks to sign the petition to "SHOW that you are against sex offenders in our Hidden Hills neighborhood!"

The petition, titled "SAY NO TO SEX OFFENDERS IN HIDDEN HILLS," was launched shortly after Nicki dropped $19.5 million on her estate ... but it's gained a lot of traction lately, with over 100 signatures in the last few days, bumping the number to 862 and counting.

He drug a 16 year old into a building and tried to rape her at knife point while she was walking to school. Folks will complain about it but wouldn't want him living next door to them and their kids either.

Because uh, people don't want to live next door to a rapist? Why are ya'll acting like you wouldn't have the same concerns? There's no way in hell the vast majority of people would be cool with knowing dude lived next door to them especially if they had kids. Pretty sure he also caught a murder charge. But, I'm going to guess everyone would just go about their day and act as if they don't know lol. People fake as hell sometimes.

There's plenty of rapist and criminals that live in your neighborhood and mines as well that we don't know nothing about. So, like I said, a person history shouldn't restrict them from where they want to live. What they're doing is some racist shit and dumb too. Also, scroll up about on this thread with someone mentioning on here that Sarah Vaughn had to make $10 million a year to live there but I guess she isn't supposed to live there since she can't bring that kind of money every year. But it goes back to the fact that if a person isn't bothering no one then why should a person care.

I'm sure dude trying to stay clean and most likely won't be an issue. But I don't believe that type of aggression just leaves a person. It takes a certain type individual to pull out knife and snatch up a chick in a rape attempt. It may be suppressed or being managed. But somewhere deep down that aggression still there. And he was sent to prison on a manslaughter charge. Shot someone several times. Not sure of the details.

So, obviously people don't change that they stay the same.

Because according to your logic, people shouldn't get a job because of their criminal past because of fear that they could commit another crime.

So, if he isn't bothering nobody then why do those people care so much.

I stopped reading at "that you dont know nothing about" because around here, there's a sex offender registry. You can see exactly who in your area is registered.

Ok, so they shouldn't have a place to stay or live in a certain neighborhood because they're a sex offender or a criminal?

Also, to be honest with you, most be people don't be looking at no sex registry to where they want to buy a house at.

Fuck that. There are neighborhoods that will accept them. There are postcards that are sent to ALL residents in my neighborhood when a sex offender is moving in the neighborhood.

I haven't got no shit like that in my neighborhood. And even if a sex offender does move into a neighborhood, most people can't afford to move somewhere else.

Not saying that at all. We all live and work around people who have done horrible things. Some may even be in our family or circle of friends. We just may not know it for whatever reason. In his case..he was caught and convicted. So some people will always judge him because of it. Someone posted that the petition was started by a CardiB fan troll. I doubt many people in that area or many others take the time to see who is a registered sex offender, but given the opportunity to cast a vote. A lot of people will jump on it.

And I never said they would commit another crime. I said that TYPE of aggression just doesn't go away. Doesn't mean that it will show up again. But it's prob still there. NIKi even said he got into a fight with her boyfriend back in the day, because she wouldn't be his girlfriend. Dude got some issues. Doesn't mean he should be outcast from society. But he does come with a warning label. Which is why has to register as a sex offender when ever he moves.

Yea the details of the "rape" mean everything, like HNIC said, if it was a case of a

18 year old with a 16 year old girl, then pass given..

But to violently rape a female with a weapon.... bruh shit like that is either IN you,

or its NOT in you... I wouldnt trust no rapist around any young children.... if I had children

he willl eventually be around children, and young adults....
