Many experts consider the American Pit bull Terrier to be the most dangerous breed of dog in the world. If trained for violence, these muscular, heavy dogs can do immense damage with their teeth, claws, and powerful jaws.

Pit bulls are the most deadly dogs in the world, not because of their strength or their but power, but because of their relentless aggression and their “no quit.”

All of those dogs CAN beat a Pitbull. But if you get a well trained Pitbull, he’s fighting to the death. So unless you have a special fighting dog, with that same characteristic (which isn’t natural to them), the Pitbull will win.

There’s a reason they are chosen for fighting, not protecting.

Yeah, that gameness. The trait just ain't nearly as common in other breeds as it is with well-bred(well, pits bred to be pits whether that is a good thing or not is another talk)pits. Pits were bred for gameness where the others weren't.

That said, well-bred rotts will put it on the line for their families/homes. That's what they were bred for. Can't throw them in a fight in some strange area and expect them to take on a game pit, but don't let that pit wander into what a rott consider its territory and threaten anything the rott considers pack. Can be said for some other dogs, but they ain't 110-130 pounds lean.

Some dogs just ain't down for dying over random shit. A pit is. That's what makes a 40 pound pit a killer in a fight.

kangal, dogo, pressa, boerbal, kangal, caucasian mtn, and bully would all deal with pitbulls. but heres the rub. its all about the owners and training. large powerful and territorial bred are ALLL phenomenal beasts. i have owned 3 pits, 1 pressa, 1 german shepard, 1 dogo and 1 rotty. i loved them all. my dogo was the hardest to control out of all of them. i love that mofo but he was a asshole. he got poisoned though...at least that what we think. the neighbors always hated him. came home one day and thought he was relaxing but when he didnt move when i called him, i knew something was wrong. we couldnt prove the neighbors did it but i got my payback though a few months later. my pressa...was a big baby. spoiled AF. definitely a family dog and super protective of family. if he didnt know you and you approached the children, he would stand between you and the children and growl until he figured out WTF. he died of a medical condition. i dont remember what it was but it was something with the breed.......I missed him so much. we had a full funeral for his ass and sent him off like G. i even cut a few onions after he was gone.

my 3 pitts was my ride or die crew around the house. but they had to go after a bad ass kid kept fucking with them by throwing rocks at the fence and max got out (took me a while to figure out how he got) and chased that bad ass kid down the street. neighbor across the street called me at work and said get home now theres cops in front of the house. Max didnt bite him though. had a convo with the cops, the boys mom and she was a bitch, talking mad trash. i told her to stop her little bastard from fucking with my dogs. cop cut me a break but gave me a warning about pit bulls and liability....blah blah...give the kid a ticket for trespassing bc he had come into my yard to get the rocks and throw them. nope.lil bastard got off ....... not even 2 weeks later the lil bastard at it again, same scenario, same cops, same story except this time, all 3 got out and was sitting in the yard when i got home. the cops showed me the boys bicycle tire where the dogs allegedly chewed it up. it was still on the side of the street. should have been that boys azz or so i thought. but the cops gave me a ticket, told me if the dogs bites the kid, even though the kid precipitated it, the dogs would be put down bc its their 2nd offense and there is evidence. i ended up having to get the bitch a new tire, and sale my dogs. i was fiyah ass hot and pissed for the next 6 months. it took me a year and half to pay that lil muthafuker back and thats all imma say about that.

i love dogs mayne. im looking at getting a rhodesian ridgeback now but that damn price tag for AKA/CKC line :itsawrap: but well see.
 
I've had German Shepards, Dobbies, Pits, and Rotts. For me, my Rott was the smartest dog by far. But my pit was my ride or die dog. Draco was a straight G. I had to put him down because I had to move and they wouldn't let me have a dog at the new place. I told myself at that time, I'm never going to be placed in a situation where another person can tell me that I can't have a dog again. And thank god I'm there.

Anyway, Pits are the most loyal if you raise them right. Shitty owners will make shitty dogs.

I was considering a Cane Corso. But when ever dogs become popular, too many shitty breeders step into the market place with badly bred animals. I like the boerbal, but I would like a dog that'll be a little more active. I'm serious thinking about the Beauceron.

A lot of people wouldn't even know about these types of breeds if it wasn't for the internet and I can see it being a problem as things go along because to most Americans dogs are like cars and anything else it comes in waves and can be based off of popularity.People want rare,what they shouldn't have and what they can't have.....some of these breeds should never be in most Americans homes or backyards.

Rotties are decent dogs that don't need long walks or a whole lot of attention once their trained but him against other dogs,I'm not sure my dog wasn't animal aggressive at all but people yeah he would stare em down first then block them from leaving and if you tried too,you would have a problem.
He was my fathers dog so he was just different dealing with him and my old man had every kind of dog from a mutt,german sheppard that was a trained police dog that didn't make the cut because of over aggression so my father got him and he was like Tonto to the long Ranger with him,Rottie,Small terrier which was craziest dog ever and he would fight to his death.

There's lots of dogs that can kill a pitbull but are they up for the fight?

Agreed. Some of these dogs are illegal in certain places, because people just can't control them. Alabais and Bully Kuttas need to be right where they are at... where stupid Americans can't get at them.

Pits are the most "game" dogs on the planet to me. That's one reason why they are so beloved. They will die for their owners, making the assumption that the owner is a quality person and took good care of their dogs well being. But, if you have an insecure or even ignorant owner, that dog is going to be like a cocked and loaded gun... a danger to everyone.

Exactly. Folks debate about which breed can do what. After a certain point, they are all some dangerous creatures when they want to be. Having owned a neo with a solid breeding history, it was nothing to play with. Damn near 200. Looked like a fucking lion. Straight man stopper. Fucked up an Akita that was stupid enough to run up. Rag dolled it like a toy. Dwarfed my rott. And playing with a rott after tussling with a Neo is night and day. And that is saying a lot since playing with a rott is night and day to most other breeds.

American bulldogs are up there too. They just ain't as smart as Neos, rotts, dobies, and german Shepards. ABs are loyal dogs, but rotts, dobies, and shepards are next level intelligent. Swear they got deep vocabs like gorillas. Rotts just so fucking powerful on top of it. Too many backyard breeders throwing out shit the last 35 years. Same thing happened with canes, presas, and to an extend neos the last 20.

I don't know what happened to your dog, but if you leave your dog outside for extended periods of times, it can drive people nuts. I never, ever, ever left my dogs out. Not that big breeds run off at the mouth, but I just don't believe in it. If I ain't out with them, they ain't out. Shit, back in the day I snatched a neighbors dog and dropped that bitch off a few cities over. The barking was driving me insane.

Don't sleep on Akitas. A lot of people see them & think they're just a cute & cuddly fluffy dog but they can get to a nice large size & can fuck shit up. Japanese police use them for a reason. My boy has one. She's attentive and smart as hell. The whole time I was at his place, she made sure she was somewhere between me and him

Co-sign. I had one. Loved that mofo. He was raw fed too. This led to amazing fur, minimal shedding and fresh breath. Also, once a day doo doo that was smaller than palm of my hand. Constant guard dogs. Perfect for families.
 
Pits are all about pain tolerance and their natural ability to want to stay in the fight. If a Rotty doesn't get the upper hand early in the fight I doubt they can tussle as long as a pit will.

MAN I LOVE THIS PHOTO. brought back memories of Hercules, my fucking hero...beautiful spoiled ass. he had that brindle color just like the pup. i loved that dog...now whodafuq is cutting onions in here. I miss his ass mayne.....love that dog with his big baby self. he was pushing 140 of raw muscle and love when he passed.

I grew up with an Akita and she almost killed 2 pits when I was a kid. Both ran off when she went for the throat after 2 pins.
