Chuck Norris, the martial arts champion who became an iconic action star and led the hit series “Walker, Texas Ranger,” has died. He was 86.

Norris was hospitalized in Hawaii on Thursday, and his family posted a statement Friday saying that he died that morning. “While we would like to keep the circumstances private, please know that he was surrounded by his family and was at peace,” his family wrote.

I've said it dozens of times on this board I know people that know him personally. The stories were all the same, they'd have sessions where top guys in the industry would get together to workout and when the sparring started Bruce played the sidelines.

Because my best friend works directly for Chuck Norris...

Straight from Chuck's mouth and the mouth of other people (men and women fighters, instructors, students) that were there and witnessed this first hand. They would get together and train, then spar all the time back in the day. Bruce would come thru and train but NEVER spar.

My friend said that from what he gathered, the best way to describe it would be is along the lines of MJ going to a training camp of other NBA players in his prime and getting absolutely destroyed on the court.

The aura was there that he was untouchable/unbeatable, and he was doing nothing to have that aura called into question. Him losing a fight or a sparring match was something Bruce refused to risk. Seeing those guys fight, especially Chuck, was enough to make Bruce play the sidelines

You may know Chuck but you got this backwards. On the set of Enter The Dragon he had to beat a few asses because of their mouths and them challenging him. I tell you Chuck does not come close to being able to even trying to handle Bruce. Your information is backwards.
