Are all Championship wins the same or are some more meaningful than others??

This chip for Miami is more meaningful than the others

  • YES - this team was less talented than those others

  • NO - a win is a win is a win...

What I mean is if Miami wins the chip this year...will it be more meaningful than the two won by lebron, D Wade and Bosh? Since that team was expected to dominate.

Would it be more meaningful than D Wade/Shaq?

I know for the Warriors the two chips without KD are more meaningful than the ones with him.

And I'm willing to bet that Lebrons one chip with Cleveland has more meaning than the other 3.

IF THE HEAT WIN THIS CHAMPIONSHIP WILL IT BE MORE MEANINGFUL THAN THE OTHERS??

I already stated my opinion about this in the NBA thread with the Miami Heat. With that being said the powers that be do not want to see a Lakers/Boston matchup. Again I am a huge Miami Heat fan everyone knows that, but last night game set off a few bells and whistles in my head that I cannot shake.

I'm looking at it from the coaching point of view.

Erik Spoelstra will have earned mad (my) respect. His wins with LeBron and Co. were chalked up to the talent that team had.

Winning again after struggling for a few years post-LeBron/Wade/Bosh would be a big deal.

Miami ain't winning. What they've done to get to the finals is impressive. But it's Denver year. Miami will be lucky to get 2 games

how do you orchestrate a blow out?? are you saying the celts are intentionally laying down??

Listen, I could be dead wrong, so don’t take anything I said to the bank. Boston is a good team but last night seems like they intentionally screwed the selves again I am a huge Miami Heat fan. I went to the first game ever back in the 80s. But at the end of the day go heat.

It depends on who is the power of that be. The same powers that be could have stopped the Buffalo Bills from. When is the Super Bowl back in the days when I went to the Super Bowl so many times.

Mother FUCK those powers that be for fucking shit up for my BILLS.....I bet they planted all the booze and coke in Buffalo BILLS player hotel rooms the night before Super Bowl 25 and used HAARP to manipulate the wind to push my man's Scott Norwood's kick wide right....

You are wrong cause financially the lakers vs Celtics would’ve been the biggest draw.. 2 teams with the most rings going head to head.. the all time scoring champ and his cult following. They wanted this.. lakers getting swept means a bunch of games they can’t bank off. From a financial standpoint and overall ratings they wanted lakers and Celtics..

Not really a fan of Spoelstra……not really sure why…..

But he goes to another dimension if he wins a chip this year

Carry on….l

Spoelstra basically moneyballed the game. While conventional thought says you need at least 2 superstars on your team this dude has made a team with one star and a bunch of role players perennial contenders. Undrafted role players at that.

If they win the chip EVERYONE is going to have to rethink how theyre doing their shit.

Also without Oladipo and Hero who was giving them 20/per.

Always seems like they just have a disciplined group.

No wasted possessions, no one playing hero ball(no pun), everyone playing within themselves

I do think they missed their chance…all Boston wants to do now is put them in a must win game 6.

No GS, no Knicks no Lakers but this has been a great playoffs

Carry on…..

The rockets did the samething in 94 with the one all star and a bunch of role players. Did that make everyone change no it didn’t.. samething with the pistons in 2004.. it happens sometimes.. in the end all stars sell jerseys and merchandise.. 29 teams won’t win a ring, you need a reason to put asses in the seat and sell merch all stars and superstars do that.. winning with one star is something that happens ever so often it’s the minority not the majority.. also the heat haven’t won the eastern conference yet let alone the chip
