LMAO....
FTR isn't that big but then again, who the hell is Jay White?
To casuals and WWE marks he's a nobody. To everybody else he's one of the best heels in the business.
Shots fired!
But we know who genuinely wants good wrestling and are unbiased Then those who are negative about anything none WWE related.
So you're confident that if someone came from NJPW they wouldn't get a solid pop? I think you're fooling yourself if you think he wouldn't be a draw.
The casual fan isn't so casual anymore with social media, forums, satelite radio and other forms of media fans are being exposed to more than just what's on TV. You get a reddit video of Stone Cold Steve Austin, it can take you down a reddit wrestling rabbit hole where you find out about these other promotions and wrestlers.
lolzIf Jay White showed up on Raw, he would get a lukewarm response.
NXT is the place where NJPW stars go once they come to WWE, so they can build their characters and get known here to WWE (wrestling) audiences.
He ain't drawing here, unless he is built to do so.
No one (outside of wrestling) knows who the fuck he is. Wrestling is niche, lolz at thinking Jay White will draw here.
lolz
I didn't watch.I haven't watched RAW yet, what happened?
I'm saying....I'm just waiting to see the Jay White wrestling explosion we were made to believe would happen, since he's the greatest heel in the business today. The fcuk?!?! What're you going down memory lane?!?!

Is he still wrestling the likes of Komander and Shawn Spears?
That's good shit, pal.

Lolz remember a few months ago cats in here were talking about Jay White and how his signing by WWE or AEW would be a game changer....
Well, has he changed the game in AEW? Haven't heard a peep regarding him in weeks and then AEW brought in Roderick Strong that basically took away any buzz White should have had.
Is White in any feuds yet?
Is White engaged in any feuds that would be deserving of the best heel in the business? It's been a peaceful two weeks and I intend to maintain that peace.

Mandy and PVZ in a collab project. Hopefully it's something involving a shower.

Mandy ain’t really bout them onlyfans life
Mandy be teasing and showing glimpses…Paige be busting it open
Mandy came along at the wrong time
15-20 years back she would’ve been in playboy and be Mabel status
Now playboy played out, the WWE is pg and teasing online will only get you so far
Either she’ll have to step it up or her fans will lose interest. She’d come back to the E, but not sure they would have her.

He made a name for himself in the US wrestling in NXT before jumping to the main rosterSo how do you explain Shinsuke? Huge star in NJPW hasn't done a whole lot during his time in WWE, but still gets a huge pop when his music hits?
He made a name for himself in the US wrestling in NXT before jumping to the main roster
Nah. I see it coming off his NXT run and the way he was pushed and promoted.I was including his NXT run when I said WWE. He had A title run in NXT if I am not mistaken. He wasn't in NXT for long. His time in RAW and SmackDown he got a Royal Rumble win and I think 2 IC runs, yet he gets a pop. I would argue that a lot of that comes from his time in NJPW
I kind of disagree with this narrative. I think a lot of the IWC tend to short sell or put the WWE audience in this box as this clueless bunch of sports entertainment casuals who only know what Vince tells them. I think the majority, while not able to cite every NJPW or indie match, are very much informed. Look at the reactions when Kana (Asuaka), Nakamura and AJ Styles showed up.Nah. I see it coming off his NXT run and the way he was pushed and promoted.
American (WWE) wrestling audiences aren't checking for NJPW like that. He wasn't widely known by WWE wrestling fans prior to coming to the states.

Agreed.I disagree.
WWE audiences lean more towards families and children. Look at the crowds attending WWE shows versus Impact or AEW shows, you'll see way more children and families at WWE events where as in AEW, it's mostly adult neckbeard wrestlingnerdsfans.
Kids attending WWE shows aren't keeping up with Japanese Wrestlers in a Japanese promotion.
Asuka and Nakamura both built their North American career in NXT, and had some familiarity when they moved up to the main roster.
Styles made a name in Impact/TNA.
LOL, all the Japanese marks were shitting on WWE for not signing Jay White, meanwhile he's already been cast off to TK's toy chest where he'll soon be doing jobs to Pockets on Rampage.Lolz remember a few months ago cats in here were talking about Jay White and how his signing by WWE or AEW would be a game changer....

I was expecting to see White come to AEW and be on some mega heel shit targeting and taking out everyone and/or getting real heel heat.LOL, all the Japanese marks were shitting on WWE for not signing Jay White, meanwhile he's already been cast off to TK's toy chest where he'll soon be doing jobs to Pockets on Rampage.
I included NXT when I made my earlier statement. Granted that crowd tends to be more knowledgeable, but it's still WWE and they both got great responses on their debuts. I think a nice mix of smarks and casuals make up their core audience. I saw a post someone on Reddit made about how they were surprised by the crowd response at Backlash to Iyo Sky. They didn't think the crowd would know who she was.I disagree.

Iyo's work helped get her over with the Backlash crowd, but I think the crowd originally was rooting more so against Bianca than they were for Iyo, though. Again, she was in NXT prior.I included NXT when I made my earlier statement. Granted that crowd tends to be more knowledgeable, but it's still WWE and they both got great responses on their debuts.
