{~}Official 2022-2023 NBA Thread - it’s that time again, this thread coming to a end

That method can work with certain teams, but not all teams are built for that, Golden state, Sacramento, Boston, Denver, they can do that they have consistent shooters. Teams like the Nets, Washington, Knicks, Philly..ect, shouldn't follow that philosophy.

It makes no sense to do that on ANY team, you're right under the basket why kick it back out

  I believe if any other player besides Lebron we would've never heard all that “bubble“ talk, they want to discredit Lebron so bad they were saying some everything. Had a player from one team (Jared Dudley) saying another team (Clippers) didn't want to be there and the analyst and others repeating it as facts

Everybody knows this. We have receipts of Curry and Giannis BEFORE the bubble talking bout how special it would be to win and how mentally daunting it was to do.

Lakers dedicated that championship to Kobe. People hate LeBron so much they totally discounted that, including some Kobe stans. More proof rings are grossly overrated and are solely used to overcompensate for certain players lack of body of work.

So the process is officially a failure?

Been a failure cuzzo. Scam Hinkie was a fraud man. He had no idea what he was doing from a basketball perspective. He just wanted you to believe he was the smartest man in the room.

Bull shit

Cause even in the bubble talk they don't talk about the heat being down starters

The bubble was absolutely UNIQUE

It was not the same for a myriad of reasons

It doesn't diminish the ring that was won
But playing on nuetral courts and no travel makes a complete fucking difference and we not gonna act like it doesn't
Injuries are a part of every playoffs so they couldn't use that as an excuse and ALLLLLLL the teams were playing under the same conditions so if anything that made it even more fair in the bubble. You had teams on neutral courts with no fans, so no advantages so everything was being settled on the court

The 2 best players on all 4 teams is the same.
Maybe you feel lakers was a fluke but the heat were there 3 out of 4 years so idk what to tell you

The Heat are not a fluke as a team but I think this year's success was a fluke considering they barely barely made it out of the play-in and then benefited from the best player in the conference getting hurt in the first round.

He played in 2.25 of the games we won
The only game they won was without him
We didn't have our 2nd best scorer or his back up
We had less rest because we had to play 2 play in games
And we were the road team both rounds
:dunno:

Lakers beat the Heat in the finals without Dragic and an injured Bam but nobody mentions that except @largebillsonlyplease lol
:dunno: :dunno:

We live in a world where reality doesn't matter
Only if it benefits lebron or makes him look bad.

If it makes him look back we spin it and then ignore

Like the narrative is he ended my dynasty

And not that he needed ad to beat curry the current reigning champ

But it absolutely would have been in reverse

Like I said I'm on the get more rings
Trade for more stars to be with curry because he doesn't need much so hop aboard embid come get some rings

It didn't make it more fair that's why it always means more when ppl have a home field advantage

You can't say injuries are a part then want to remove the advantage of being good all year and hosting playoff games and potential game 7s at home

That ain't how it works that's not how it should work and will ever work again

Don't get so far out there you can't concede fact
I didn't say it diminished anything I said it was different

And definitely not more fair

If he says the only team I want to go is miami you don't think they would accommodate him. He put in his time and put up with the process.
I think Spo could figure out a way to maximize his talents.
I don't think its a lack of using his talents. And maybe I'm wrong but that dude looks gassed. I always worry about these big men like AD and him who never stay on their feet. I can't invest in a clumsy big muthafucka who stay hurt and can't stay on his feet? Then be the first one talking about their back hurt.

I agree if Bam was healthy and Dragic played, Heat more than likely win that series. ;)

We live in a world where Large bills thinks LeBron James can't play off ball and doesn't see him as a cerebral player. But dudes on BGOL see him as a serious basketball mind.

The Lakers Finals victory was a bigger fluke!

Did injuries affect this years playoffs, yes it did so you can't use that excuse in the bubble. you're saying the bubble situation didn't diminish anything but the people who want to diminish LeBron are

Shit let’s run it back then…

“Let’s Go Heat” vs “Going back to Cali”

Right
The point was that injuries affect every year but that year it isn't mentioned but definitely mentioned other years as a reason
Funny how that works right?

Timing don't seem odd to you?

There's ppl who want to diminish lebron
Ppl who want to prop up lebron
And ppl who are indifferent

Foreign players aren't chastised for losing the way Black American players are. The league doesn't want to alienate the global audience and wants more foreign stars at the forefront. Draymond spoke on this earlier in the year. You can't blame Embiid for being ho hum bout losing. He knows he gon be considered Top 3 in the regular season and in an MVP race next year regardless. :dunno:
