Is New Edition the only black soul/r&b/funk group or band with more than 3 members that has more than 50% of them as capable or quality lead singers?

I would argue that for the criteria I listed, yes. When they have the full 6 member line-up, they have 4 quality lead singers:Ralph,Bobby, Ricky and Johnny. 4 out of 6 is 67%. That has to be the highest amount among black groups with 4 or more members. Who else?

Correct cause Ronnie and Mike know how to get in tune with em and as quiet as it's kept Mike comes up with the gear they wear where their not trying to be young nor too old.

Plus Mike had biv10 with new kids on the block,boys2men,abc,702, and a few other groups that get played today so he's good....since he's the 5member of boys2men and get paid if he is right there with them.

OG Destiny’s Child. Beyonce, Kelly Rowland, and LeToya Luckett could all hold it down in a lead role.

Without Michael, there would have been no Jackson 5, I don't think Jermain could have carried the group.

There wouldn't have been a Jackson 5, but there would have been a Jackson band of some type. The success would have came later but I believe they would have still been a success. People forget that Michael was a late addition to the Jackson brothers and that Jackie, Jermaine and Tito were already practicing I can't remember if Marlon was in it. Micheal Jackson was just on a another level. I believe Joe Jackson(put some respect on that man's name) would have made them successful with or without Micheal.
