Glass is half full / optimistic note. I've mentioned on the board a close friend of mine had a stroke in the spring of 2016. He had previously suffered a brain injury 30+ years ago and is 68 now. When he had the stroke it was a major setback and he was hospitalized for 2 months, and speech therapy was key to getting him back in the game. He was struggling to say "Hi" and "Hello" and would call me to check in, but was unable to communicate beyond that. I'd say he's back to about 80 - 90% of his former health / self now. Was talking with him in person yesterday evening, and he was smiling and laughing. Much more easy to understand now. He has a nurse come by daily to administer his medication. I told him it was great to see him so upbeat & positive. In a good place really; definitely worried about his recovery in 2016-2017. I help him with stuff like grocery lists, looking over his bank statements & ensuring he's caught up with paying his bills on time.
I hope this ain't one of those situations where the worst has already happened but it won't be "official" till like next month. It's not unheard of.
Definitely hope the brother bounces back. He comes off as a good brother with positive energy. He's also a hell of an actor/entertainer and bonafide musician.

Whatever happened it's clear the brother has a long road to recovery and hopefully he comes back stronger than ever. We've lost too many legends in recent years and can't to afford to lose someone as gifted as Jamie.

Yes it's definitely great news to hear that he's out of the hospital. It's clear that she's only giving updates because of the speculations that recently came out.
Her and her family don't owe us explanations or updates but his millions of fans and supporters do care so they're just anxious for any updates.

Dude is well known to be extremely private. I mean, even to the point that he made Claudia Jordan take back a statement that suggested he was dating Katie Holmes. It's highly unlikely that we'll see or hear anything else about it until he's 100% and even then he probably won't say what happened.
No doubt but this is different.
Despite being a very private person there's no way he'd not make a video response of some kind if he were able and in a state that he's willing to be seen or as you said until he's 100%.
I don't see him not speaking on it if/when he fully recovers since the rumors have been so rampant.
