Deion Sanders offered the Colorado job- Official Colorado season thread

Another player from Florida state… who didn’t see much playing time while there. This the players who’s connections to coach run deep.

I think some folks don’t understand coach Prime reach…

See these folks know the connections

These new players coming in really highlight how bad the roster was. I’m interested in how the practices will go now. Will the players that were doing well before, still have the same success? Can players take a number from another player that got it before they got there?

That number can get got…. Only 3 numbers untouchable 12, 2, 21 well and number 0(since no one getting that)

Practice gonna be talent on talent. The roster shaping out to be two deep.

Many of these players didn’t have stats but apparently have size and skills to compete.
The DT from Fla State, Bishop Thomas was a redshirt freshman last year but he got the scout team player of the year for FSU. That might not seem like much but it showed they recognize him. Showed he was making things happen in practice.

From what I’m seeing they got two running backs they looking at. Apparently one was a D2 dawg…

But the eyes are on that King guy from Auburn, he’s a TE…

Why are those numbers untouchable?

Shedeur #2
Travis #12
Shilo #21

No one getting #0

Actually number #7 might be also… Cam got that
I hope this isn’t the case.

How can you coach a team to “earn” their numbers because nothing is given, but reserve numbers for your sons and players you have a personal relationship with?

I hope this process works out for him.
This process worked for the coach who went to the NCAA title game last year…

This process worked for the coach who had the heisman trophy winner last year..

This process worked for the team that went to the HBCU title game last year & had back to back undefeated swac seasons

So I don’t know what is there to question
There was a tweet that show the combined stats of transfer out player compared to three players from FSU they was the same…

Couple of points

1. This is football not basketball
2. Didn't they lose to Utah twice and Tulane... please remind me
3. Still lost to NCCU...(Eagle Pride)

Most teams who rebuild (which this is a rebuild job) do not lose 90% of last year team..please name the program.

1. True not basketball, but that happened in football recent history, very fresh history
2. Yes USC did and TCU got skull dragged by uTHUGGa
3. Yes they did and Lost to SCCU the year before…

I think JSU did after that first spring, in year one. Trust me many teams would if the portal was a thing.

Since you mentioned basketball, that team was getting beat by 23 weekly. You know how horrible that it.
Like outta all the players that transfer out, only a few got big time offers.
The other Pac12 teams wasn’t rushing to offer them dudes(as a whole).

Your NCCU team or that JSU team probably would hang 35 on that team easily.

Plenty can change from now and signing day for him… but Watkins Jr seem locked in…he’s a 2025 commit
Dude seems like a leader… he looks up to Trav Hunter big time

Colorado Visit of Winston Watkins a 5 Star WR at IMG Academy! (Colorado COMMIT)

Seem like they have like 13 spots left…

A quality backup qb would be excellent unless they feel confident in those true freshman. Since this video got published a wr came from LSU(likely a walk on) & a OL from Ole Miss both joined yesterday, while a DT just committed today from Mizz

Mannnn these dudes are connected to many people. Damn Lil Twist looks and talks like Wayne. Its understandable since they been together for so long.

Montana still hanging with the family

Love the connection and back story with Lil Twist. I always listened to his song on the Young Money albums.
