Joe Budden podcast done? No Rory or Mal for 2nd straight episode

I thought the same thing up, but Joe is done done based off of how he spoke about them on Drink Champs, it may be a while before they are together again.
Why all the hate??? Joe put you two on....

My conspiracy theory mindset still thinks that all 3 are in cahoots with each other....

I've thought this the past two years

Both of you have the money to hire a lawyer.

The reason they don't and won't try to go after this "alleged" money, is because it keeps them relevant and keeps the beef going. People started listening to them because of Joe, either the hate and dislike or to root for them for some reason. It's never been about the quality of their show or their personalities, because Mal was lame as fuck on JBP.

Separated, they are a lesser version of themselves, but together, they are Voltron. There was a certain flow to the pod. Like you already knew what Mal was going to say before he said it but you still wanted to hear it.

The co-host are interchangeable. It's normally the format or something you like about one or two of the participants.

That's why so many podcast have replacements.

There's not a podcast I listen that hasn't changed up over the years.

It's funny that you bring this up because I can't see "The Pivot Podcast" without Fred, Channing and Ryan right now. they all go great together. Because Fred is a chill and laid back dude, Brandon and Chad would talk over him, but the three of Channing and Fred and Ryan go great together..it's all about compatibility and flow

What’s wrong with being on a salary? No one talks about the operational costs that has to be paid - lights, editing, camera, ( I don’t live in NJ but that damn apartment look expensive asf)..
How many jobs show their employees the book? Did Mal and Rory buy equity into the company?
Seems like Rory and Mal lack emotional intelligence in the world of business.
Didn’t they start their own pod? Don’t they have Patreon? Ain’t like they not getting a bag (even though I don’t listen to that shit).

Here's the thing about that...they weren't just employees. They were friends as well and some of that probably bled over into this. Even though it's been years since it happened, it still feels raw. And this isn't like a corporate job, well if you're a programmer, and you aren't getting paid what you're worth, you can just up and leave and go to another company. It took years of them building this brand (it wasn't just Joe) and they "feel" (i agree they should have seen the books and had everything straight from the jump about how they would get paid) so they want to feel like they were getting paid their worth...like Joe has always said that this is what he fighting for his creators...this also goes back to his Def Jam days when he was getting screwed over. Irony is that it's different when the shoe is on the other foot. I don't know all the details so I dont want to speculate, but this is my take on it. It's also possible that both parties are wrong in this and Rory and Mal fired the first shot. Joe actually did them a favor by "addressing them" in the first place

Rory and Mal fired the first shot. Mal has been talking about Joe for a bit every time he goes somewhere.

This round started because of Mal and Rory talking about Complex's list. That's why it was weird how Rory was acting like the victim in his rant and Mal sitting there silent.

Thats what I'm saying. Joe doesn't even bring them up like that and when he does, he's subbing them anyway. Even with Nore mentioning them on that Drink Champz interview, Joe never said their name. Joe's doing well. I suspect that Rory has prob told Mal to knock it off, but Mal can't help himself and Rory might be scared of Mal..lol

If you believe you were stolen from and you are entitled to more from an organization, go to court and get the issue resolved. If you aren't willing to do that over fake morals, move on with your life and stop talking about it.

Clearly, I don't know the truth of the matter, but it may just be Mal expected more from someone he called a friend and financially they weren't entitled to much more than they received. On paper, they weren't entitled to as much as they thought. I somewhat understand why they would get that idea of deserving more, but just because you help someone build a business from the ground up doesn't mean you were officially a partner.that being said you could go to court and argue that you are entitled to more than what you were given assuming you really did put in tangible efforts. You can request as many records as you want in the process. It's your lawyers job to poke holes in the documents provided.

Again, if your attitude is i'm so stand up that you won't go to court, you should keep the same principles and stop talking about it. Now maybe they did and I don't recall, but I thought Mal pulled the i'd never do that card. I fully understand Mal and Rory's mindset, but it's really turning into bitch shit to continue to talk about it, but not take meaningful actions.
and if they own any part of the business there percent of ownership would be signed off on. Plus they would have to file it on there taxes. Prove that they never owned any business ever.
