maybe, the story was picking up steam as they were saying each arrest lead to MORE arrest.... next thing you know,

Unsurprisingly the mother didn't participate at all this time and they glossed right over it since they only wanted to address R. Kelly and the people who enabled him
I suspect the girls father wasn't a part of that since he still participated and doesn't seem to be implicated in the shit his wife was encouraging their daughter to do.
