Report: Steelers Have Spoken to Bears About Trading Up
The Pittsburgh Steelers are having conversations about trading up in the NFL Draft.

PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers currently sit at pick 17 with hopes of landing one of the top offensive tackles or cornerbacks - judging from their biggest needs. But what if they don't believe their best choice is to stay put?

General manager Omar Khan has made it known that they are open to trading up or down in the NFL Draft, and according to one NFL Draft analyst, there has been some conversation about the Steelers moving up.

During a live stream on YouTube, EJ Snyder of the Bootleg Football Podcast said that the Steelers and Chicago Bears have had conversations about moving up to pick nine.

"Bears and Steelers are possible. They've talked about it. I know they've talked about it," Snyder said. "It's by no means for sure. ... The most likely connect the dots moment is that Pittsburgh needs and a tackle and they go up for one because there's one they like and they'll be gone by the time they pick at 17."

Snyder cautions that a lot of teams are making phone calls right now, but with Khan putting his foot on the gas with his first offseason - signing a number of big names and acquiring a pick from the Bears with the Chase Claypool trade - it shouldn't be brushed off that the two sides have spoken.

Chicago currently sits at pick 9. No details were discussed about what it would require for the Steelers to move up, but the 17th pick and likely another high-end pick in this year's draft will likely be the minimum.

Pittsburgh would possibly have their choice of left tackle and cornerback at pick 9.

He was drafted by the GM before Brad?
Yeah quintricia... Muthafucka was so dumb they couldn't trade out of the 3rd spot

All they had to do was pretend they wanted a QB to learn behind Stafford but no these dumb ass hats had to make it obvious that they wanted aCuda, even to the point of stating Stafford was their man for the future:hmm:

To make it worse Miami was picking right behind us and of course they took Tua, all we had to do was hype up that we wanted a fucking QB and Miami would have been forced to trade and move up to Detroit spot.

It was it was a layup and these idiots fucked it up?!?

So who is going to be the #1 DB in detroit???

I love the move of getting the Safety from the Eagles, but it's looking like DB's will be a weakness even though it doesn't matter with that DL...
