Andrew Wiggins has been in the NBA since 2014. However, his career didn’t take off until 2020,
when he was traded to the Golden State Warriors. Finding a new home for himself, the former
#1 pick started showing us all his capabilities and made a place for himself with the Warriors.
He had one of the best years of his NBA career last year, when he earned his first All-Star selection
and had a major contribution to the Warriors winning the Championship. This year, his numbers were
looking even better. However, he hasn’t been with the team for over a month.
Missing 13 games in a row, the fans are worried about their star. Nothing has been shared with the public
except that he’s away on some serious family matter. With uncertainty around the star, someone on the internet created a rumor about Maple Jordan.
What is the rumor about Andrew Wiggins, his wife, and his best friend?
Someone on the internet came up with the idea to spread misinformation about Andrew Wiggins while he is away
on a serious family matter. They claimed that Andrew Wiggins’ wife cheated on him with his best friend.

As far as the official channels go, there is nothing on the internet from any source close to Wiggins or the
family to confirm that this is true. In fact, he’s not even married yet. He has a long-time girlfriend named Mychal Johnson.
They have been said to be dating since 2013, and they bonded over their mutual love of sports.
They have two daughters, Amyah Wiggins, and Alayah Milan.
Judging from their social media, the lack of information out there, and the love that these two have for each other,
this is most certainly a rumor. People should avoid making such things up about people, especially when they are going through a tough time.
What do Warriors say about Wiggins’ absence?
The team clearly misses Andrew Wiggins, but at the same time, they recognize that there are things bigger than basketball.
Here is what Stephen Curry said recently:

This is all on Wiggins. He simped and married the bitch when he was 23. If he got her pregnant he should have just paid the child support but not marry her.

Bullshit , she was in a car accident or something
That would make more sense to me, based on how the team has talked about it. I’ve been thinking something worse.

It’s all on you for being a dumbass speaking on rumor as fact.

I could see that being a reason for some time off. But can't see why it would need to be a big secret. Plus that is something that can easily be verified. Unless I'm missing something. Not saying the rumor is true. Thats some cold blooded shit if it is though. You would think paternity test would be standard procedure for any pro athlete. Hell it should be that way for most men. Especially if you not married. Even then fuck ups happen. The truth will eventually surface.

Yeah this is a good point. The team and media would report if she was in a car accident. That would garner sympathy with the fan base.

I know a guy when I was in the Navy who joined the Navy after he realized he couldn't find a job to support his wife and his son.

When his son was 5 years old he found out that the boy wasn't his. Not only that, his hoe ass wife had no idea who the real father was, or maybe she just wouldn't say.

I remember it being a fucked up situation and the Navy is made up of different commands, and your command determines how understanding they are going to be

They gave him temporary Duty off the ship and let him handle his business. But other commands can say, your family didn't come in your seabag aka we didn't issue you your family so we don't give a fuck about them

Example:

When I was deployed took away, a guy who came with me his grandmother passed away. Grandma is not a part of immediate family so he wasn't allowed to go home. He was RAISED by his grandmother because his mother wasn't around.

The Navy customs Battalion Quebec leadership said that it was up to the Army since we were on an army base. They thought the Army was going to say no

The army said sure, we got a plane leaving soon and we can put him on it.

The command then balked and said he couldn't go... and they fucked up the morale for the entire command. Just because they wouldn't let that one person go.

That was a big here's what they think about you moment and they fucked it up

Paternity test or not in most states once you sign the BC ("SHE GOT EM!")

I hope the rumor is false and he is doing ok, I really liked his potential and wanted the Cavs to keep him before that K Love trade

I don't have a clue on whats going. But I have noticed what has not been said. No one has came out to refute this as for as I know. If the mother of my kids was accused of something like this. My people would've already released a statement. Asking people to refrain from spreading baseless rumors and respect my privacy. None of his or her friends have came out to defend her?

I was glad to see him bounce back with Warriors. I agree about Cavs keeping Wiggins. Not sure they wouldn't have had similar success had they kept him.

I don't have kids. Not sure how all of that works. I think in TX the woman can just write your name on it. And it's up to you to refute it.

Nobody has refuted a 24 hour old internet rumor.

It ever occur to you that once you “refute”/acknowledge one, you’ve set a precedent and have to refute everything some asshole makes up?

You don't have to refute everything. Just put out a general statement.
For every rumor someone spreads online? That would be incredibly dumb.

Or are you saying that he deserves no privacy and should put out a general statement explaining his situation, giving in to the wolves online?

This ain’t a “he should” situation. It’s a “we should.” Respect his family’s privacy.

but sign the BC..after you get results...brah

Bullshit , she was in a car accident or something

We'll see let it shake out.
If she was in a car accident what's the hush hush about?
What's the mystery behind how LONG he's out for?
and that and the NEED him bad on the court.
I say she crashed AFTER getting busted :rolleyes2:

This rumor got crazy legs
thats some fucked up shit if true. i hope that's not the case
It’s not even believable. Does everyone think the Warriors are so saintly that the entire organization would sit back as he just sorts through his feelings for a month? The players and staff in 100% solidarity presenting the situation as unquestionably serious while they fight just to make the playoffs?

It is obviously an ongoing situation IMO. Not hurt feelings over something that happened a month ago.

In Ohio and a few other states, if you're married, the male is automatically listed as the father.

Y'all could be separated for years and she have a new man in her life knowing he is the father......

If she seeks any public assistance because that relationship doesn't work out, the state will come after the husband. There was a somewhat popular story where this happened like a year or 2 before the pandemic...

The bf and husband both took tests and the bf was proven to be the father....

Judge still put the husband on CP.
The bf and woman both would have to jump through hoops and pay to get the husband off CP and put the bf on CP....

You think the (ex) bf did all that for a chick he couldn't stand anymore?

I don’t believe this and think OP should delete this baseless rumor thread.

Even the “article” says it is a rumor but OP presents it as fact. Smh
That would make more sense to me, based on how the team has talked about it. I’ve been thinking something worse.

I’m thinking more along the lines of health of a family member.

Sharing my post from the NBA thread on Wednesday…

And especially referring people to this:

You shouldn’t have needed it, though! There was zero reason to believe this Twitter bullshit.
