Cartels work with Mexican politicians...I believe this is the cartel trying to tidy up a mess with local politicians who are trying to appease big wigs in Mexico City who got to deal with America's fake but loud sabre rattling....cartel basically saying this wasnt sanctioned just some clowns who acted independently...here they are, justice is served, lets go back to how things were a few days ago

local politicians can tell big wigs in Mexico City that the guilty have been found and will be punished...Mexico tells US govt and US tourism industry this was a one off and they have been brought to justice
