There's a great one in PA called Cherry Springs State Park. It's one of the darkest places in the US. I was supposed to go with a few friends a couple of years ago but it fell through. Will try to visit this Spring or Summer though.I never heard of them until now, damn!

Astounding when you remember the length of the Milky Way is over 100K light years. Our entire solar system is insignificant.
What is meant "diamond" and "glass" here? Do they mean molten carbon and silica? Surely solid diamonds and glass aren't falling from the sky.

I’m going to say this again most of earth doesn’t have its act together, so right now is not a good time for aliens to visit us or they may want to destroy us immediately. Also, I said this before if we get visited by aliens that similar to the Borg, we are all dead immediately or at least assimilated.
