Tarantino wasn't talking about storytelling either though.

yes - he really was
he is saying the thing most hollywood keeps running from - since existing /ongoing IP like (star wars) Phantom Menace and later Harry Potter etc etc
the IP (legend & characters), -built on decades of storytelling- are consistently the draw - not the cast

No.
Thanos was like the Jordan of Supervillians. On film he completely changed the game. And people actually rooted FOR him.
he was right and No other villain had a movement behind him.
Kang could do something great, but you will have to see it soon or the MCU May suffer.
DC waiting behind that tree….

A lot of the shows and films acting have been complete trash
TV shows were good; movies not so much....

Too much time worrying about VFX scenes and less about character development and story.

For anybody who's a fan of the story arc, who wants to see MCU adapt Hulk: Future Imperfect? The Hulk has been basically useless since Ragnarok. Unless they're planning on killing him off, they to need figure out how to use him now.

The bigger problem is recreating The Avengers.
The more and more you think about Thor Love & Thunder the worse and worse it gets.
That won't happen unless the audience numbers dips dramatically and probably not even then.
Build on the Guardians of the Galaxy. That team has expanded to include Thor to some degree and they're adding Adam Warlock.
Theyrd dipping the world wide openings and China has been really poor. This movie was a weak start for phase 5
