Do y'all think KD asked for this trade? Not a good look for his legacy (yeah I know he don't care, and who are we to judge, but this is water cooler talk)

Talent Wise the dude is a great. But if you're talking about him being the main reason his team won a chip?? Let's be real, if Golden State didn't have Klay & Steph, he wouldn't have won there.

Phoenix hit their ceiling and they need help... Call EMS... Easy Money Sniper...

He should embrace the narrative of a hired Assassin... instead of fighting about Bus Drivers...

And forced to play with Ben Simmons for the next 3 years... :smh:

Kevin Durant should have stayed in Golden State

His legacy has him as the rookie of the yr, nba mvp, multiple scoring title winner, nba final appearance and that’s b4 he went to golden state, his golden state legacy is 2 time finals mvp and it wasn’t even close to say anybody else deserved it on his team, his legacy will be him being injured in a nba finals and coming out hitting like 11 shots giving his team motivation but than going down to injury and once he was down his team couldn’t win it without him, the Brooklyn scenario wasn’t the best due to injury and disappointment but he was still putting up numbers when he wasn’t injured.. now if he goes to the suns and finally helps win them a chip he now will be looked at as the necessary piece

Wow, I wonder if he requested or even approved of this trade.

I'd be surprised if a player of his caliber doesn't have a trade clause in his contract.

No disrespect but it’s comments like this, that’s damaging his legacy. KD is expect to win a chip without teaming up with people. The NBA been teaming up for decades. Even Clyde went from Portland to Houston and won a championship.

GSW actually wanted KD Curry, Dray, Klay, Kerr and the owner had a meeting with KD. Phx actually wanted KD for the trade. Remember Lebron came back from being down 3 games, in the Championship to beat GSW. Overall let KD go wherever he wants to like the rest of the superstar without the criticism.

Damien Lillard is going to be stuck in that same position, before KD if he doesn’t team up with another team.

woj stated on ESPN, after Kyrie was traded that Sai And Marks approached him and asked him if he was open to being traded to the Suns and he said Yes. Fuck it , the Nets needed to hit the reset button from them wishy washy ninjas anyway, they were the biggest failed experiment in NBA history IMO.

MAYNE I was wondering why my phone was blowing up in the middle of the night.
I got 7 calls and 19 texts messages of the KD trade, I had to look at the calendar to see
if it was April 1st.

The Nets had won 12 games in a row and were again striking fear in hearts of rivals, then Durant got hurt and head case Kyrie got angry because the Nets wouldn't give him a guaranteed max contract blew the whole thing up.

All Durant wants to do is ball and contend for another title and Kyrie Irving is the most selfish player and horrible teammate to ever don a uniform. Just too bad KD choose to trust Kyrie and go to the Nets when he would have won at least two more championships if he had stayed with the Warriors. :hmm:

Personnally I hate that he's going to the Suns because I despise cheap shot artist Chris Paul and with KD he'll probably get the ring he never would have without him. Glad he's out of "Brooklyn" though because the fans never really embraced him, Kyrie or Harden. Well now they can wallow in last place with their superstar tripple single averaging Ben Simmons.

Pretty much, give it some time. i believe Kyrie will start his shit with the Mavs. The Suns got a legitimate shot with KD but his window won’t be open long he seems to be very injury prone.
