I was at my Grandmas and my country ass cousin brought over some Peach Liqour. She can’t handle it so she gave it to me.

How do you make this stuff? A nigga had 2 sips and I was bent. You know what I’m saying?

If I fill the bottle with water will it have alcohol after a few days of sitting?

Most purist don't consider just about all of the "moonshine" sold in stores are real shine. The the alcohol content of stuff in the store is significantly lower.

Side note one of the guys the comes to one of our stores makes his own & sells it. He bought in some lemon drop shine the other day & had folks BENT..lol There's a competition/reality show that comes on, can't remember the channel that shows folks who make moonshine.

My, dad and his cousins used to make all sorts of moonshine. I can’t handle it and them negroes never know how much alcohol proof it is.

The last time I had it, I threw up because it was too much for my stomach. But pops and fam could drink that shit like it was water.
 
Had an uncle from Havelock, NC who use to make it. I think he made apple brandy. Shit was the bomb. The stuff in the ABC stores is not the same. Only problem I had with moonshine is that you don't know what you got. You can drink a jar and get a nice buzz or black TF out and throwing up.

I had a homie in college when I was at wssu bring some shine back from SC where he was from.

That shit used lay down the entire hallway. Especially them kats from up north unfamiliar with it.
 
My father made a decent living off of selling liqour straight from Mississippi,once a month run fri-sun on the highway CB radio Smokey & Bandit type of shit til the early 90's.

He knew how to make it but he basically said that there's a lot of steps when you trying to make a lot of it and that a lot of people can make liqour but not everyone can make good liqour.

A older church lady I know makes it in her basement with all kinds of fruits and shit she gets from the food pantries and public market by the gallon but she does it only for her and her family;It's like a secret none of the old timers want to tell you how to make it or show you.......Oh well I'll just never know,that's their old asses howling at the moon.
 
True country bred and raised... I KEEP a jar of Apple in the fridge.

I grew up around true moonshiners in the foot hills of N.C. As kids we didn't have access to corner store liquor, etc.. We had moonshine and homebrew beer. LOL

Here are a couple of pics from my 25 year class reunion 5 years ago.. My boy Jamie, who's family was and still is the plug (LOL) did not disappoint. From the pictures you can tell back in the day we used to have a ball!

Apple Jack / Apple Pie, Peach, Coffee, Sweet Tea, and Orange Cream (if I remember them all)... One of two coolers he brought into the banquet.

Shit started off civilized with shot cups, but then by the time the second jar was empty, everyone started taking it straight to the head.

It was a great time seeing my old classmates and partners in crime.. Had to be selective on the pics though, a couple of the fellas are still on some true Bo and & Luke Duke shit. LOL But these chicks in the pictures always went just as hard as the boys when we were high school kids having barn fires at the river spot.. drinking white, smoking homegrown, and dippin that nasty ass Copenhagen (white boys)... Crazy to see them as doctors, lawyers, etc.. and still reverting to our roots when we get together, and all was needed was someone to start bringing coolers in.

And the posters above is right.. Everybody that can make liquor, don't know how to make good liquor.. And I agree, that mainstream shit in the liquor store is trash... Get yo some quality white. If somebody brings you some shit already mixed into a flavor, ask them for some white first. Shake the jar and look at it..If it doesn't have a nice foam that lasts for 7 - 10 seconds, its garbage and you need to leave all that other shit alone to because chances are they are just trying to hide some low quality product.

It’s like a swig left…

if I put water in the jar and let it sit for a few days, will it prolong the drink? There’s just peaches, and what looks to be a stick of cinnamon inside.

Naa it will just dilute it. I know cats that will put a little vodka in there with the left over fruit and let it set for a while, but I would just eat the peaches, that shit is soaked in.
