Food: Pepsi dumps Sierra Mist, debuts new lemon-lime soda to compete with Sprite

Sierra Mist when it was just renamed Slice lemon was fine. It's when they changed the formula 10-15 years ago when it fell off.

Anyhow, I saw bottles of Starry this morning and I honestly thought it was a house brand for Kroger. It would be interesting if they actually went back to the old Slice formula.

man drinkin soda is for children,

Real kniggas take their favorite juice and mix it

with perrier/pelligrino or seltzer water,

Pomegrante juice and lime perrier ice cold,

after eating some grilled salmon and asparagus..

Pure heaven..

all that sugary shit is begging for future medical problems.

and just feeding a fat stomach...

Went from drinking soda every single day, sometimes all day to drinking only water. With that change alone I've lost and kept 30lbs off and counting. A couple times a year I'll have a glass when I order a pizza or something like that, You'll be surprised how nasty soda is once you've detoxed off that bullshit and try it again.

I cant even drink soda with pizza... i taste wayyy too much sugar when i do that.. i have had it absent from pizza so long i tried it the other day and damn near spit it up... i like soda myself but mayb once a week if that n more than likely im at a burger joint... shit is not the greatest anymore like it was 20 years ago...ijs

Also confused. Does 7up still exist? I'm so removed from there soda game, I don't know what's going on.

I never knew Dr pepper was it's own soda brand. I thought it was under Pepsi. Damn you learn something new everyday

Although in some areas they now have a bottling/distribution network, they used to make deals with Coke, Pepsi or smaller bottlers to distribute their products. There's plenty of people who think DP is a Coke product because of this, as an example. Pepsi legitimately handles most of the brands internationally for them too.

But anyway, the current name of the group is Keurig Dr. Pepper and along with 7-Up, they also own RC, Snapple, Nehi, Scheppes and others.

Yo! Just tried this shyt and I do mean shyt!!!! THIS is what is what they came up with to compete with Sprite??? The person that came up with this should be updating their resume RIGHT NOW! The only thing it has going for it that you can drink a 20oz bottle that is only 10calories.

Mention fast food or soft drinks on here and niggas turn into Dr.Sebi. Never fails lol

:giggle: i feel ya.. but hell i dont drink pop like back in the day...its mostly water..i like getting the orange juice from the grocery store thats freshly squeezed.. most of that pop stuff just dont taste the same as it did before...

Pepsi is sponsored by the GABEUSJSHDGGHKS community....

Pepsi is always on sale, buy one and get twenty cans free but Coke maybe every other month,Coke has a strong following.

I don't care what happens long as Coke is around to purchase.

Dr. Pepper owns 7up.
Or 7up owns Dr. Pepper.

Strangely, Dr Pepper is only owned by Coca Cola in its European and South Korean markets. Everywhere else it is sold is managed by the Keurig Dr Pepper company. This company also owns the well known soft drink 7up.
