Overall it's the same thought process minus the obvious personal experience he has in the industry and with New York artists.
What stood out was that the same information was disclosed 15 years ago and allegedly no one from the Lox said a word to the public. This goes back to if information is false its up to the accused to correct the story and if possible provide evidence to support your version. They can’t use the excuse that it is messy to discuss Jhood in public because they literally utilized their fans to force Puff to release them.
Another thing I didn't like was Styles trying to belittle Jhood by saying he basically failed and needs to move on. To me, that comes off like you are trying to leverage your popularity or success as the bigger artist to win public opinion and discredit Jhood. Styles damn near should have just said don't believe this broke guy he's just bitter about his life. Styles mentioned not allowing people to hurt Jhood, so we could assume the Lox indirectly could have blackballed Jhood too. I agree with Styles that Jhood was really trying to sign to gunit and Jhood said it was discussed. If you're honorable , why not release Jhood regardless of your issue with gunit.
If you bearly had a career to begin with and you are being blackballed, how was Jhood supposed to bounce back? Instead of trying to shame Jhood or make people question his character, Styles or someone else should have come with evidence. It could have been as simple as Jhood claims this person gave us a check. Here is the person and he is saying this never happened. I doubt they have proper accounting from back then, but if they had any documents provide them. Jhood claimed the 60k was listed on some document he received. Ask him to show it. My point is attack the allegations with documented facts. Don't attempt to diminish the man's character or hold yourself in high regard in comparison to others.worse case just outright say we used the funds for your album and apologize for not communicating that fact.
These niggas ain't journalists yet. I don't even know if they're tryna be journalists.
As of right now, they rappers (or former rappers) / podcasters with a bunch of stories, interesting insights in regards to the industry, and connections. I mean that with no disrespect. But they get to pick and choose when they wanna be journalists.
If they are aspiring to be journalists, then I expect some fumbles along the way. But they don't have to adhere to the strict standards journalism requires in order to profit so why would they?

His objective is to get his name back out there to push his new single with shyheim. To be honest his break from the Lox wasn't an earth shattering moment in hiphop to begin with. It damn sure isn't a big deal now. After he drug the chain down the sidewalk his 15 minutes was up. I wish him well and hope that he can move pass this.

We really wouldn't. Nobody knows J-Hood outside of niggas our age that remember him dragging that chain on the ground. Up until today you probably couldn't even google his name.
Wallo needs his own show called "The New Scared Straight," but he's talking to wannabe street thug rappers and givin' them The Real like he tried to tell Young Thug.
