Why are so many doctors leaving medicine?

I stumbled upon his video a couple of years back, he posted about paying off student loans as quickly as possible. You need to pay on them for 20 years plus and dump your money into investments/401k. Any funny business with jobs like what happened to me, and you dump that shit off into default status.

I posted about investments in college education can provide negative returns, it is not a slam dunk. If you want to assist your children setup some type of trust or housing assistance.

Well now they have Income Debt Repayment (IDR) so I ain't paying off nothing that quick plus your payment under a IDR is $0.

They know whats coming down the line, they know how many hospitals, were ensuring

patients got labeled with covid, to ensure they get that bag..

Fact check: Hospitals get paid more if patients listed as COVID-19, on ventilators

Our ruling: True
We rate the claim that hospitals get paid more if patients are listed as COVID-19 and on ventilators as TRUE.

They KNOW when it comes out the role hospitals played in putting PROFITS over the health of the public,

it wont be pretty,

and they DONT want to be on the wrong side of history, like Biden and the rest of the big pharma whores in

our govt...

A lot of em realize that their not going to live that millionaire lifestyle and drive those fancy sport cars.
They spend a lot of time working so much so they don't have time for anything else.
Some went to school for it because it runs in the family but really hate it and they don't want to disappoint their famly.

If you're not a people's person don't become a doctor,do something like computer programming .

I know a female doctor who got in it to help poor people but after she almost go sued for trying to help she is thinking about being a doctor in another country that is more tolerent towards people who are really trying to help the poor.

Not to mention the debt from medical school they have to pay off

Many doctors are burned out by the time they make attending physicians. If anything, those with big school debt stay practicing longer cause they got bills. Those who managed money right or got scholarships use their loot to get into something else. They learn that you can make $$$ without all the drama.

They need to be smart and work high paying contract jobs to pay off debt. Many think they are above working in corrections or state hospitals but psychiatrists are making 3-400 per hour for 8-10 hours of contract work a day . Primary care make 2-250 per hour in prisons. It’s easier than working in a hospital and safer. My wife worked at San Quentin for 5 years right out of residency and paid all her student debt off after 2.5 years.

Somebody was having medical issues with their heart, humbling and becoming appreciative of people like me because he now relied superior abilities to develop something that will extend his life.

Don't question any charges, you need to talk about liquidating your 401k willingly to pay their $50-$100k charges. Don't ask for charity work/financial assistance as this will anger them. Don't go to the media crying about price gouging. Don't spy on them and steal trade secrets or anything untoward them in any way

Acknowledge their right to live a opulent lifestyle. If the medical professional/device company married a freeloading unproductive bum, than acknowledge their hybrid children and that their children inheriting some of their superior abilities. If they got with somebody of equal status, than you say superior offspring. This is something they like hearing from your kind.

We can withhold future greatness if you are hostile to us in anyway making it 10x worse long run. The best way to afford expensive medical treatment isn't to use the government monopoly power to dirt cheap our products, it is for you to step up your game and contribute equally to society.

Medicine has been infiltrated and corrupted by both government and corporate interests.
Moreover, many practicing doctors no longer hold the Hippocratic oath as sacred and do it for the money versus wanting to save and heal life. And let's not forget the stress (debt and long hours) that's part and parcel for being in this field.

Doctors do be wrong sometimes. Due diligence needs to be done.

Do you know how often youtube is wrong? Way, way, way more often than doctors.

if you’re not going to listen to a doctor then why go to one? Treat yourself off youtube.

I hate how other doctors won't speak on how bad another doctor is.I've seen a lot of doctors in my day and I've only known three great doctors that have spoken bad about another doctor and have told me to stop seeing em and they'll recommend me someone.

It's funny how ER's and hospitals are still giving out vicodin like it's aspirin knowing how addictive it can be and how addicts will pretend to be in pain to get it.

Invest in VHT cause it's big business and will be even bigger decades from now

The funny thing is, the same people that don't trust doctors would never take their car to a mechanic and demand to go up under the car with the mechanic and tell them what's wrong with their car and how to fix it.

Yeah it's sad because we really need good qualified healthcare professionals working in the field.

The system is extremely broken for so many reasons...Burnout and high malpractice insurance are some of the main reasons, but there are several more.

I think this is one of the reasons why you are seeing new models of care being prompted - one medical by amazon, telehealth services, at home care (this will be big in the future), concierge services....

Leveraging technology will help with burnout and looking at other models of delivering care will be key..

I think the administrators in hospitals where there is high burnout have to put processes in place to prevent this or they will be out of business very soon...

I will say there are many organizations where doctors are not being forced to push patients through the system....trust me, the way healthcare is going which is value based care this old philosophy will die out....

Yeah this. I was sued because I was the first person this crazy person talked to when she came to my job. Fortunately it got thrown out, but that shit does fuck with you. You think "all you worked for" is gone because an idiot decided to sue you.

It's not just professional courtesy but sometimes you don't want to second guess someone. What if someone does that to you?

Imagine trying to treat people that think they know more about medicine than you do because they watch youtube videos.

Fuck that.

YouTube and Twitter MD/PHD's are running amok out here

It's so wild to me honestly. Folks seem to lack even basic humility and common sense...like the kind necessary for basic survival. Find one person up in here who found themselves in a trauma situation and would talk back to an ER surgeon that told them X or Y procedure was necessary to save their lives and I'll find you a stone cold LIAR. Meanwhile, folks watch a few videos by some know-nothing contrarians and suddenly the Earth is flat and they're a legit epidemiologist. It's the dishonesty that infuriates me. I don't believe even one of these dudes. It's all bullshit.

Yall lack nuance man, I find it funny. In a trauma situation, you taking any help you can get. Me personally, I was talking about misdiagnosing or mistreating certain conditions. I'm talking you been receiving treatment for a while and things arent getting better. Prescribing medication thats not working. Thats the type of stuff I'm talking about

I definitely feel you on that bruh. I'm all for alternative medicine in the face of chronic conditions where easy/effective answers aren't forthcoming. I've had all kinds of family deal with all kinds of wild shit who found relief in the most unlikely places. I love that for them (and for everyone)! I guess where we part ways is this notion that the solution to a global pandemic with clear protocols, health modalities and prevention protocols that extend about 6 inches from your own nose to other human beings who can be affected by the quality of your decision making is just a matter of "personal preference".

Shit just comes off mad childish, irresponsible and ignorant to me personally.

1. Pay off a credit card

This is the best debt to pay off since your liquidity is not impacted, you can borrow the money again in the future. The interest rate is too high for you to gain anything investing money in the stock market.

2. Mortgages and Student Loans

Paying off these debt instruments reduce your liquidity greatly which is an important factor. The interest rates are dirt cheap allowing you to make money if invested in the stock market. The bank has a lien interest on your property, reducing their potentials losses from a default. The risk of default priced into their interest rate is greatly reduced.

With student loans, the government subsidizes the cost of borrowing and it is unsecured. You can do an IDR or just walk away completely. The debt collector can see you are not making shit and will probably not come after you. Use that cheap subsidized interest rate/unsecured debt to your advantage.

The minute you pay these off, you can't go to the bank and request another mortgage for liquidity or another student loan. Banks did do home equity loans but they had higher interest rates.

I had some doctor call trying to price gouge me (a criminal offense!) with his new medical treatment he invented. I called a couple of politician and complained, they stated they would take away his patent protections and negotiate prices limiting his leverage.

This fool isn't going to be living an opulent lifestyle after I get done with him. The women will see him as worthless bum just like me, no hybrid offspring. They can just date a rapper or entertainer, rather than somebody saving lives.
